The Contractors /Firms themselves should produce relevant records to prove their eligibility before the undersigned for obtaining the bids , the cligibility norms are as follows :
1. Contractors/ Firms should execute Government works of similar Nature costing Rs . 252 Lakh cach during the last five financial years (Annual turn over) .
2. Contractors/ Firms should have satisfactorily completed a single work at least not less than Rs . 168 Lakhs (Estimate P.A.C. ) during the last 3 years .
3. Contractors/ Firms should have a financial capacity of producing Bank guarantee at 10% of the contract amount of the work at the time of executing agreement .

The filled up and signed P. Q. bids along with all required Proforma and questionnaires and certificates (in triplicate) with E. M. D. for Rs . 50,000 pledged in favour of undersigned with executed preliminary agreement in stamp paper for Rs . 50 in one sealed cover (P. Q. bid cover) and Tender Schedule (price bid) in another cover superscribing the name of work and the Pre- qualification bids as in the case may be sent by registered post so as to reach the office of under- signed before 4 p . m . on 20-1-2010 . The department will not be responsible for any delay or loss in delivering by post ( Courier Service will not be accepted) . The tender documents will be issued only to the registered contractor's of PWD and are not transferable . Q. bids will be opened on 20-1-2010 at 4.30 p. m. and will be submitted to the Chief Engineer's Committee for scrutiny and finalization Pre -qualification panels . cover containing Tender Schedule ( price bid) will be opened only after the finalization of P. Last date of receipt of tender is on 20-1-2010 upto 4 p.m. The Technical bids will be opened at 4.30 p.m. on the same day. If it fails as a holiday , the next working day will be taken into account . The Contractor having 'A' Class Registration in PWD/ Irrigation Department of Kerala State and who have completed atleast one work of similar nature having a magnitude of 40% of the estimate cost of above works within last 5 years . The documents in proof of this shallbe produced along with the application for tender documents . The E.M.D. and Preliminary Agreement should be enclosed within the technical bid. All other conditions prevailing in P. W. D. regarding pre -qualification bids and tenders are laid down in G.O. ( P) No. 84/97 / PW & T dated 19-8-1997 will be applicable to this tender also . Concession which are allowed to the Kerala State Construction Corporation and Labour Contract Co- operative Societies as per rules in force will be applicable to this tender .
