TENDER NOTICE

20th November 2009 .

Sealed tenders are invited for the supply of Duplicating paper as per the details given below . Tender No.-114/2009-10. Name of Item-Duplicating Paper (Semi absorbant) 75 gsm, A4 size per ream of 500 sheets , ( IS : 1848/2007) . (210 ×297 cm) 2.3kg Quantity- 120 MT .

Cost of tender form :

Original Rs . 7,313 .

Duplicate Rs . 3,713 .

Date of opening of ten lers- 14-1-2010.

1. Intending tenderers may on application to the Controller of Stationery, Kerala, Thiruvananthapuran 695 033 , to obtain the requisite tender forms on which the tenders are to be submitted .

2. The sale of tender forms will be closed 24 hours before the time fixed for the opening of the terder. Cost of tender forsas will be accepted either in cash ( remittance in the Office) or by Money Order only and should be sent to the Controller of Stationery , Thiruvananthapuram-095 033 (Name of the Officer should not be mentioned) . Cheques , Postage Stamps and Demand Drafts will not be accepted towards the cost of tender forms nor will the tender forms be sent by V. P. P. The cost of tender fornis are not refundable under any circumstances . The tender number and the name of the item . for which the tender form is required should be clearly specified in the application /M.O. Coupon . The tender forms are not transferable . The last date and time fixed for receipt of tender is at 3 p.m. on the date fixed for opening of tender . If date of opening of tender happens to be a holiday it will be opened at 4 p . m . on the next working day .

3. The covers containing the tenders number and item and addressed to the Late tenders will not be accepted. The facility of purchases against Form-D stands withdrawn vide Government of India notification on 29th March, 2007 of the Central Sales Tax Act , 1956 .

5. A specimen of the Preliminary Agreement Deed is appended to the tender form. Tenders received without the Agreement Deed, Earnest Money Deposit and Samples will be rejected outright . Further details, if any can be had from the Office of the undersigned during the office hours .

6. Other things being equal , preference willbe given to the goods bearing ISI Certification Mark and in the absence of Certification Marks , products conforming to IS: Specification. WherWhere uncertified goods are supplied by the seller with a claim of conformity to the relevant Indian Standards, it is his responsibility to produce a certificate of conformity from the Bureau of Indian Standards or any test house recognized by the BIS . Offers for articles with ISI mark should be accompanied by a duly attested copy of the latest valid license issuedby BIS for manufacture of the articles with ISI mark.
