No. T4/26735/2008. 18th December 2009.
In view of the directions of the Hon'ble High Court of Kerala in the Judgment dated 29-8-2006 in OP No. 5818/02 filed by the directly recruited RSIs, the Seniority in respect of the following directly recruited ASIs (now RIs) in the cadre of RSIs were re-fixed vide PHQ Order No. L5/12965/02 dated 26-4-2009 and in compliance to the above Judgment and based on the provisions contained in the G O. (Ms) No. 252/63/Home dated 17-5-1963, the date of regularization of the officers (now RIs) have been taken as follows.
1. Shri S. K. Retnakaran (Now RI) .. 14-5-1994 2. ,, P. A. Babu ,, .. 1-4-1995 3. ,, R. Balan ,, .. 1-4-1995 Sri S. K. Retnakaran is included as Sl. No. 90 (A) in the Seniority List of RSIs as on 1-1-1996.
Sri P. A. Babu, Sri R. Balan and Sri K. Ramachandran are included as Sl. No. 130 (a), 130 (b) & 130 (c) respectively in the Seniority List of RSIs as on 1-1-1996.
Sri N. T. Anandan is included as Sl. No. 86 (a) in the Seniority List of RSIs as on 1-1-2002.
Consequent on the revision of placement in the Seniority List, the Ad-hoc DPC (Lower) held on 28-10-2009 examined their cases and arrived at the following decisions.
Sri S. K. Retnakaran is included in the Select List of RSIs fit for promotion as RIs for the year 2003 (for the vacancies in 2004) as Sl. No. 6 (B) as shown below:

Sri P. A. Babu, Sri R. Balan and Sri K. Ramachandran are included in the Select List of RSIs fit for promotion as RIs for the year 2003 (for the vacancies in 2004) as Sl. No. 9(A), 9(B) and 9(C) respectively as shown below:
