I In exercise of the powers thus conferred upon me , in pursuance of Section 122 of the Travancore- Cochin Public Health Act , 1955 ( XVI of 1955 hereby declare that the area specified in the Schedule below shall , for the purposes of Chapter XIII of the said Act, be a notified festival centre for a period of 8 days commencing from 26-1-2010 and ending with 2-2-2010 in connection with the Annual festival Anayara Kizhakathil Sri Bhagavathy Temple , Thiruvananthapuram and define the said area for the purposes aforesaid be the sites for the said festival . of
SCHEDULE
Area within 3 Km . radius of the temple.
As per Order No. 32903/ G1 / 2008 / H & FWD dated 8-7-2009 published in Kerala Gazette No. 1392- Vol.54 dated 28-7-2009 as SRO 653/2009 in pursuance to Section 154 of the Travancore - Cochin Public Health Act , 1955 (XVI of 1955 ) , The District Collectors have been authorized to exercise the powers as per Section 122 of the Travancore- Cochin Public Health Act , 1955 (XVI of 1955 ) so as to declare any local area or part of it within respective jurisdiction in which a fair or festival is to be held to be a notified fair Or festival centre for the purposes of Chapter XIII of the Act, for such period as maybe specified therein and to define the limits of the area which shall be the site for the fair or festival .
