PRELIMINARY NOTIFICATION
ROC No. 8737/05/Grant. 10th December 2009.
Under Section 37 and 38 of the Travancore Cochin
Hindu Religious Institution Act, 1950, considering the
application submitted by family members of Adinadu Vadakku
Kottappuram Varikkolil Mana Sree Bhadra Durga Devi Temple
Trust, preliminary enquiry conducted by Deputy Devaswom
Commissioner, Harippad and the enquiry conducted by the
Deputy Devaswom Commissioner (Inspection) and after
having heard the parties interested and affected and obtaining
the permission on the Hon'ble Board vide Order
No. ROC 4357/05/Land dated 22-1-2007. I am satisfied that
the conditions precedent as setforth in Section 37 and 38 of
the Act exist for assumption of the management of 'Adinadu
Vadakku Kottappuram Varikkolil Manayil Sree Bhadra Durga
Devi Temple', Karunagappally, Kollam (Dist.) by the
Travancore Devaswom Board. Here I, P. V. Nalinakshan Nair,
Devaswom Commissioner, Travancore Devaswom Board do
hereby pass orders for the assumption of the temple Adinadu
Vadakku Kottappuram Varikkolil Manayil Sree Bhadra Durga
Devi Temple, Kulasekharapuram Village, Karunagappally
Taluk, Kollam District along with its movable and immovable
assets including landed property one acre 43 cents comprised
in Survey No. 159/11 in Block No. 6 of Kulasekharapuram
Village and the structures therein. The temple will be
categorised as Grade III Temple Adinadu Sakthikulangara
Sub Group under Karunagappally Group. Any objection in
this regard should be submitted to the Devaswom
Commissioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of
notification. In the absence of any objection this preliminary
notification will be confirmed.
