TRAVANCORE DEVASWOM BOARD
PRELIMINARY NOTIFICATION
ROC. No. 7921/2009/Est-11. 6th November 2009.
In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub section (5) of Section 29 and Clause (e) of Sub section (2) Section 35 of the Travancore Cochin Hindu Religious Institutions Act, 1950 (XV of 1950) and in supersession of all existing orders regarding the promotion of the Low Paid Employees of the Travancore Devaswom Board, the Travancore Devaswom Board hereby makes the following amendment to the Travancore Devaswom Board Notification ROC No. 8734/85/Est. dated 10-10-2006 published in the Gazette dated 21-11-2006.
Rule 4 is substituted as follows :
"Thirty five per cent of the vacancies arising in each Calendar year in the cadre of Lower Division Clerk/Sub Group Officer Grade II/L. D. Typist under the Board shall be reserved to be filled up by appointment on promotion from the low paid employees of the Travancore Devaswom Board on the basis of the common seniority list according to the date of entry in service irrespective of their category i.e., Establishment Employees or Temple Employees".
Notice is hereby given that the said amendment will be taken into consideration after one month from the date of publication of this Draft in the Gazette.
Objections or suggestions to the proposed amendment submitted after the period specified above will not be considered by the Board. Objections and suggestions shall be addressed to the Secretary, Travancore Devaswom Board, Devaswom Board Building, Nanthancode, Thiruvananthapuram-695 003.
