NOTIFICATION
ROC No. 6171/2007/CA. 2nd January 2010. of written test and interview or both for appointment to the post of temple employees other than Watcher, Kazhakom, Pathramtheppu, Sweepers and Mahouts under the control of Travancore Devaswom Board. The selection procedure for disciplines Panchavadyam, Thakil, Nadaswaram were also brought for compliance of the above rules as per ROC No. 6669/2001/Mis. III dated 3-10-2001 published in the Official Gazette. But as per Notification ROC No. 6171/2007/CA dated 24-1-2008, remaining in force special procedure regarding selection and appointment to this above disciplines are prescribed and laid down. In order to give effect to the requirements in the above notification alone this amendment is made exempting the above candidates from the applicability of Rule 9 of ROC No. 454/ 2001/Manual Revision dated 20-3-1987 and ROC No. 6669/2001/Mis. III dated 3-10-2001.
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Sub section (2) of Section 35 of the Travancore-Cochin Hindu Religious Institution Act (XV of 1950) 1950 and also on the basis of all other enabling provisions, the Travancore Devaswom Board hereby propose to exempt the application of Rule 9 amended as per the Notification ROC. No. 454/87/Manual Revision dated 20-8-1987 and also in ROC No. 6669/2001/Mis. III dated 3-10-2001 published in the Official Gazette for the purpose of selection and appointment of Nadaswaram, Thakil, Panchavadyam etc., from the students who pass out from Kshethrakalapeedom, under Travancore Devaswom Board in the concerned discipline and their appointment shall be governed by the requirements and procedures notified as per ROC No. 6171/2007/CA dated 24-1-2008 alone.
Hence this amendment is proposed.

Whoever proposes to file any objections to the said notification shall forward their objection if any within 30 days (Thirty days) from the date of publication of the notification to the undersigned. If no objection is received within the above stipulated time it will be presumed that there is no objection to the said notification and the same will come into effect from the date of this notification.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 58 of the Travancore-Cochin Hindu Religious Institution Act, 1950 (Act XV of 1950) of Travancore Devaswom Board is pleased to add to the Schedule attached to the said Act, P. D. Attippuzha Devaswom situated in Survey No. 123 in Vamanapuram Village, Nedumangadu Taluk, Thiruvananthapuram District under the administrative control of the Assistant Devaswom Commissioner, Varkala Group and to order that the above said Devaswom be treated as a Grade-II Devaswom with effect from 5-1-2010 the date of this notification.
