The following draft amendment to the notification

issued as per G. O.(MS) No. 5/81/H. Edn. dated

17th January, 1981 published as S. R. O. No. 217/81/in

Kerala Gazette No. 8 dated 24th February, 1981 which the

Government of Kerala propose to make in exercise of the

powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and

sub-section (2) and (3) of section 5 of the CharitableEndowments Act, 1890 (Central Act 6 of 1890) is hereby published as required by rule 3 of the Charitable Endowments (Kerala), 1996, for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby; 23rd FEB. 2010] KERALA GAZETTE 32 Notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken up for consideration on or after the sixtieth day from the date of publication of this notification and that any objection or suggestion which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft before the expiry of the date specified above will be considered by the Government. Objections and suggestions, if any, shall be addressed to the Secretary to the Government, General Education (S) Department, Government Secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram-695 001.

DRAFT AMENDMENT

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section (4) sub-sections (2) and (3) of section 5 of the Charitable Endowments Act, 1890 (Central Act 6 of 1890), the Government of Kerala hereby make the following amendments to the notification issued under G. O.(MS) No. 5/81/H.Edn. dated 17th January, 1981 and published as SRO No. 217/81 in Part I of the Kerala Gazette No. 8 dated the 24th February, 1981, namely

AMENDMENT

(1) in paragraph 2, under the heading "SCHEME" for the words, letters, figures and bracket "Rs. 4,000 (Rupees four thousand only)", the words, letters, figures and bracket "Rs. 14,000 (Rupees fourteen thousand only)", shall be substituted.

(2) in the SCHEDULE, for the entries under column

(2), the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-

"Rs. 14,000 (Rupees fourteen thousand only)".
