TENDER NOTICE
27th January 2010 .
No. 427/B1 /2010/Sty .
Sealed tenders are invited from paper manufacturing mills for the supply of the following paper items as per the details below.
Tender No. and Name of Items-153/ 2009-10- Cream wove paper 60gsm. , 84 cm. width reel, 72% brightness (Min. ) , The reel should be free from joints , uneven windings and damage . The core should be strong ( Comforming IS: 1848/2007 ) .
Quantity- 225 M.T.
Cost of tender form :
Original-Rs . 16,313,
Duplicate-Rs . 8,213 .
Date and time of opening for tender-10-3-2010, 4 p . m .
1. Intending tenderers may on application to the Controller of Stationery , Kerala, Thiruvanantha- puram-695 033 obtain the requisite tender forms on which the tenders are to be submitted.
2. The sale of tender forms will be closed 24 hours before the time fixed for the opening of the tenders . Cost of tender forms will be accepted either in cash ( remittance in the office) or by Money Order only and should be sent to the Controller of Stationery, Thiruvananthapuram -695 033. (Name of the Officer should not be mentioned) . Cheques , Postage Stamps and Demand Drafts will not be accepted toward; the cost of tender forms nor will the formия be sent by V. P. P. cost of tender forms are not refundable under any circumstances . The tender number and the name of the item for which the sender form is required should be clearly specified in the application/ M.O. Coupon. The tender forms are not transferable. The last date and time fixed for receipt of tender is 3 pp . m. on the date fixed for opening of tender .р. The If the date of opening of tender happens to be a holiday it will be opened at 4 p . m. on the next working day .
3. The covers containing the tenders shall be appropriately superscribed with the tender number and item and addressed to the Controller of Stationery , Thiruvananthapuram-695 033. Late tenders will not be accepted . The tenders will he opened in the presence of the tenderers or their authorized representatives who may be present at the time of opening of the tenders .
4. Every tenderer shall send along with his tender an agreement executed on a Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs. 30 and furnish 1 % of the total cost of the material as Earnest Money Deposit . EMD will be accepted in Cash/ Demand Draft/FDR taken in favour of Controller of Stationery with due endorsement . No bidder shall be exempted from the remittance of EMD/Bid security videvide G.O. (P) No. 448 /05/ Fin . dated 13-10-2003 . ThThe facility of purchases against Form -D stands withdrawn vide Government of India Notificationon on 29th March, 2007 of the Central Sales Tax Act , 1956.
5. A specimen of the preliminary agreement deed is appended to the tender form . Tenders received without the Agreement Deed, Earnest Money Deposit and Samples will be rejected outrighto Further details, if any can be had from the Office of the undersigned during office hours .
6. Sufficient samples should he sont along with the tender . The samples should strictly conform to the specifications .
7. Other things being equal , preference will be given to goodagooda bearing ISI certification mark and in the absence of cercertification marks and products conforming to 18 : Specification . Where uncertified goods are supplied by the seller with a claim of conformity to the relevent Indian standards, it is his responsibility to produce a certificate of ronformity from the Bureau of Indian Standards or any test house recognized by the BIS . Offers for articles with ISI mark should be accompanied by a duly attested copy of the latest valid licence issued by BIS for raanufacture of the articles with ISI mark.
