ORDER
WHEREAS, the Election Commission of India is satisfied that Shri M. Raghavan, Meethale Kandoth, Cholam Vayal, Vatakara P. O. a contesting candidate at the General Election to Lok Sabha, 2009 from 5-Kozhikode Parliamentary Constituency has failed to lodge his account of election expenses as required by the Representation of the People Act, 1951 and the Rules made thereunder ;
AND WHEREAS, the said candidate could not submit his representation/ account of election expenditure till date under the said rule;
AND WHEREAS, in the supplementary report of the District Election Officer and Returning Officer, Kozhikode has stated that he has not yet filed his account of election expenses;
NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of Section 10A of the said Act, the Election Commission hereby declares Shri M. Raghavan to be disqualified for being chosen as and for being a member of either House of Parliament or the
