objective of the scheme is widening of Thammanam- Pulleppady road. Part of DTP Scheme for MG Road, DTP Scheme for Ernakulam Stadium Bus Stand Complex, DTP Scheme for TP Canal and DTP Scheme for Elamkulam Road Vicinity area of International Stadium (Draft published) form part of the proposed Thammanam-Pulleppady Road Vicinity Area Scheme.
Name of Scheme:—Detailed Town Planning Scheme for Thammanam-Pulleppady Road Vicinity Area.
District—Ernakulam.
It is hereby notified under section 8 of the Travancore Town Planning Regulation IV of 1108 that the Kochi Corporation has passed under sub-section (i) of section 7 of the Town Planning Act 1108 (IV of the 1108) the following resolution at its meeting held on 17- 4-2010.

Under Section 7 (1) of the Travancore Town Planning Regulation IV of 1108, the Kochi Corporation decides to notify a Detailed Town Planning Scheme for Thammanam- Pulleppady Road Vicinity Area.
The proposed scheme envisages development of Thammanam-Pulleppady Road as a major road linking MG Road and NH Bye pass along with a comprehensive and integrated development of the area on either sides of Thammanam-Pulleppady road starting from Padma junction in MG Road and ending at Chakkarapa rambu in NH bye pass. The Scheme area is spread over to either side of Thammanam-Pulleppady road to a depth of approximately 200m. The prime BOUNDARIES

A copy of the plan of the area included in the Scheme Map (DSN 1) will be kept for inspection during the office hours at the Office of the Corporation of Kochi.
Under Section 15 of the Town Planning Act 1108 (IV of 1108) no person shall erect or proceed with any building work or enter or carry out any contract in respect of the land within the area included in the Scheme without applying for and obtaining permission from the Corporation of Kochi or the responsible Authority.

എം.ജി. റോഡിൽ പfl ജംഗ്ഷനിൽ നിന്ന് ആരംഭിച്ച് എൻ.എച്ച്. ബൈപാസിൽ ചക്കരപ്പറമ്പിൽ സന്ധിക്കുന്ന വിധത്തിൽ തമ്മനം-പുല്ലേപടി റോഡിനെ നഗരത്തിലെ ഒരു പ്രധാന റോഡ് ആയി വികസിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനും അതോടൊപ്പം മേൽ റോഡിന്റെ ഇരുവശങ്ങളിലുള്ള ഭൂപ്രദേശത്തിന്റെ സമഗ്ര- സംയോജിത വികസനവുമാണ് മേൽ പ്രസ്താവിത വിശദനഗരാസൂത്രണ പദ്ധതികൊ≠് ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നത്. തമ്മനം- പുല്ലേപടി റോഡിന്റെ ഇരുവശത്തേക്കും ഉദ്ദേശം 200 മീ. വീതം വിസ്തൃതിയിൽ വ്യാപിച്ചുകിടക്കുന്നതാണ്. വിഭാവിത പദ്ധതി പ്രദേശം, തമ്മനം-പുല്ലേപടി റോഡിന്റെ വികസനമാണ് മേൽ പദ്ധതിയുടെ മുഖ്യലക്ഷ്യം. എം. ജി. റോഡ് നഗരാസൂത്രണ പദ്ധതി, എറണാകുളം സ്റ്റേഡിയം, ബസ് സ്റ്റാൻഡ് കോംπക്സ് വിശദനഗരാസൂത്രണ പദ്ധതി, റ്റി. പി. കനാൽ വിശദനഗരാസൂത്രണ പദ്ധതി, എളംകുളം റോഡ് വിശദനഗരാസൂത്രണ പദ്ധതി, ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ സ്റ്റേഡിയം വിസിനിറ്റി ഏരിയ വിശദ നഗരാസൂത്രണ പദ്ധതി (ഡ്രാഫ്റ്റ്) തുടങ്ങിയ പദ്ധതികളുടെ ചിലഭാഗങ്ങൾ മേൽപ്പടി പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമാകുന്നതാണ്.
