It is hereby notified that Dr. T. S. Anirudhan,Professor, Department of Chemistry, University of Kerala, Kariavattom, Thiruvananthapuram, has been nominated to the Academic Council of the Cochin University of Science and Technology, as the nominee of the Vice-Chancellor, University of Kerala, in accordance with the provisions of Section 23 (2) "Ex-Officio Members (iii)" of the Cochin University of Science and Technology Act, 1986. 19th [OCT. 2010] AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT 130 Counter Petitioner :—Nil.

The term of office of the above member shall be for

a period of two years with effect from 22-7-2010 subject

to the provisions of the Cochin University of Science

and Technology Act, 1986 and the Statutes thereunder.

Dr. A. Vijayakumar, who was nominated to the Academic Council by virtue of his Designation as Reader, in accordance with Section 23 (2) Nominated Members (ii) of the Cochin University of Science and Technology Act, 1986, has expressed inability to continue as member since he has been promoted as professor.

Considering the above, the Vice Chancellor has nominated Dr. S. Prathapan, Reader, Department of Applied Chemistry, Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi-22, to the Academic Council of the University, in place of Dr. A. Vijayakumar, for a period of two years with effect from 20-8-2010 subject to the provisions of Cochin University of Science and Technology Act, 1986 and Statutes made thereunder.
