PRE-QUALIFICATION TENDER NOTICE
13th October 2010 .
No. DGTN/ PQ/2010-11 .
Tenders for pre -qualification and execution of the following works are invited from financially sound and well experienced Registered 'A' Class Contra Contractors/ Firms of Kerala PWD, who have successfully completed atleast one similar work costing more than 40% ( Forty percentage) Estimate P. A. C. of work during the last five years . Tender documents can be downloaded from the official website of PWD www.keralapwd.gov.in and cost of tender documents including all taxes shall be submitted along with the tender documents by Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Superintending Engineer , PWD ( R& B) Central Circle, Aluva payable at Aluva . The copy of Contractor's Registration Card should also be submitted along with tender documents .
The Labour Contract Societies who participate inthe tender shall produce necessary certificate obtained from the Joint Registrar regarding their qualification and certificate obtained from the Assistant Registrar regarding the works in hand as stipulated in the G. O. (Ms. ) No. 135/97/ Co . op . dated 13-11-1997 . Exemptions and preferences allowed to Labour Contract Societies vide G. O. (Ms.) No. 135 /97/ Co- op . dated 13-11-1997 and KSCC vide G.G. O. (Ms. ) No. 81 /97/PW & T dated 7-8-1997 and G.O (Ms.) No. 75/ 98/PWD, dated 18-8-1998 will be applicable to this tender also .

Briefdescription of work- Construction of bridge with 5 equal span of 30 m . ( Total length 150m.) with foot path on cither side , foundation with bored cast - in - situ piles of 1.00 m. dia superstructure with prestressed RCC T beam and slab , Construction of approach road , retaining wall etc.
E.M.D.-Rs. 50,000 .
Cost of tender documents Rs . 25,000 + 4 % VAT+ 1 % Cess on VAT .
Date and time of opening of Pre- qualification details-24-11-2010 at 4.30 p . m.
Time of completion-18 months .
