Collegiate Education Department SHORT TENDER NOTICE No. A3-673 /2010/Lab -Equip . 14th October 2010 .

Sealed tenders are invited for the supply of Laboratory and Chemicals for Equipments Rs . 3,00,000 under Development of Library and Laboratory (Plan) Scheme for Government College, Kottayam .

Scheme The cover containing the tenders should be superscribed "Tender for the supply of Laboratory Equipments and Chemicals for Rs . 3,00,000 under Development of Library and Laboratory 2010-11 (Plan) " and addressed to the Principal, Government College, Kottayam, Nattakom P.O. , Kottayam- 686 013. Last date for the receipt of tender is 2 p. m. on 27-11-2010. Late tenders will not be accepted . The tenders will be opened at 3 p.m. on 27-11-2010 in the presence of such tenderers or their authorized representatives who may be present at that time.

Intending tenderers may on application to the Principal , Government College , Nattakom P. О. , Kottayam obtain the requisite tender forms on which tenders should be submitted. Application for the tender form should be accompanied by a cash remittance of Rs . 451 (including tax) which is the price fixed for a form and which is not refundable under any circumstances . Demand Draft for Rs . 451 on the local branch of SBT drawn in favour of the Principal , Government College , Kottayam and self addressed Stamped Cover should be enclosed with the application for tender forms to be sent by post . The tender forms are not transferable . Sale of tender form will be closed at 1 p . m. on 27-11-2010 , Cheques or Stamps will not be accepted towards the cost of tender forms . Duplicate tender forms , if required will be issued at Rs. 225 ( including tax) per copy. 31-3-2011. The rate quoted should be valid upto An Agreement in the prescribed form in Kerala Government Stamp Paper worth Rs . 50 should be enclosed with the tender. Rates, Sales Tax and Conditions of supply of articles should be clearly stated in respect of each item. The articles should be supplied and installed in the specified place of College within two weeks from the date of supply order at their own expense. The amount will be released after the certification by the competent authority. The Principal , Government College , Koyilandy is empowered to cancel or extend this tender at any time without notice .
