TENDER NOTICE

Sealed competitive tenders are invited from paper testing laboratory equipments suppliers for the supply of the following lab equipments for testing properties of paper and boards .
Cost of tender forms :
Original -Rs . 2,810 .
Duplicate Rs . 1,457 .
Date and time for sale of tender form- 29-11-2010, 4 p.m.
Date and time for receipt of tenders- 30-11-2010, 3 p . m .
Date and time for opening of tenders- 30-11-2010, 4 рp . m .
1. Intending tenderers may on application to the Controller of Stationery , Kerala, Thiruvanantha- puram-695 033 obtain the requisite tender forms onwhich the tenders are to be submitted.
2. The sale of tender forms will be closed 24 hours before the time fixed for the opening of the tenders . Cost of tender forms will be accepted either in cash (remittance in the office ) or by money order only and should be sent to the Controller of Stationery, Thiruvananthapuram -695 033. (Name Postage Stamps and Demand Drafts will not be accepted towards the cost of tender forms nor will the tender forms be sent by V. P. P. The cost of tender forms are not refundable under any circum- stances . The tender number and the name of the item for which the tender form is required should be clearly specified in the application /M.O.Coupon . The tender forms are not transferable . If date of opening of tender happens to be a holiday it will be opened at 4 p.m. on the next working day .
Late 3. The covers containing the tenders shall be appropriately superscribed with the tender number and item and addressed to the Controller of Stationery, Thiruvananthapuram - 695 033. tenders will not be accepted . The tenders will be opened in the presence of the tenderers or their authorized representatives who may be present at the time of opening of the tenders.
4. Every tenderer shall send along with his tender an agreement executed on a Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs . 100 and furnish 1 % of the total cost of the material as Earnest Money Deposit . Earnest Money Deposit will be accepted in Cash/Demand Draft/FDR taken in favour of Controller of Stationery with due endorsement . No bidder shall be exempted from thethe EMD/Bid security vide GO (P) No. 448/05/Fin dated 13-10-2005. The facility of purchases against Form- D stands withdrawn vide Government of India Notification on 29th March, 2007 of the Central Sales Tax Act, 1956 .
5. A specimen of Preliminary Agreement deed isis appended to the tender form . Tenders received without the agreement deed , Earnest Money Deposit will be rejected outright. Further details , if any, can be had from the office of the undersigned during office hours .
6. Other things being equal , preference will be given to goods bearing ISI certification mark and in the absence of certification marks , products conforming to IS : Specification. Where uncertified goods are supplied by the seller with a claim of conformity to the relevant Indian Standards , it is his responsibility to produce a certificate of conformity from the Bureau of Indian recognised by the BIS. Offers for articles with ISI mark should be accompanied by a duly attested copy of the latest valid license issued by BIS manufacture of the articles with ISI mark. Standards Or any housetest for
