NOTIFICATION

G. O. (Ms) No. 259/2010/Home. Dated, Thiruvananthapuram, 22nd November 2010.

S. R. O. No. 1173/2010.—In exercise of the powers conferred under section 6 of the Delhi Special Police Establishment Act, 1946 (Central Act 25 of 1946), the Government of Kerala hereby accord consent to the members of the De1hi Special Police Establishment to exercise powers and jurisdiction in the whole of the State of Kerala to investigate the offences involved in Crime No. 446/05 of Kattakkada Police Station, Thiruvananthapuram.

Explanatory Note

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.)

Government have decided to entrust the investigation of the case in Crime No. 446/05 registered at Kattakkada Police Station, Thiruvananthapuram relating to the death of Shijikumar to the members of the Delhi Special Police Establishment. For the purpose, the consent of the State Government under section 6 of the Delhi SpecialPolice Establishment Act, 1946 is necessary. The notification is intended to achieve the above purpose.
