Sealed tenders are invited for the supply of Public Address System with Invertor and other equipments to Government College, Chittur.

The tenders should be superscribed " No. A5/2620/ 2010-11 /GGC/CDC/Plan Public Address System with invertor and other equipments " for Rs . 1,14,206 under Plan and CDC Fund and addressed to the the Principal , Government College , Chittur , Chittur College P.O. , Palakkad , Pin-678 104 so to reach in this office not later than 2 p . m. 31-12-2010 . Late tenders will be opened at 3 p.m. on the same day in the presence of the tenderers or their authorised representatives who may be present at that time . as on

Intending tenderers may on application to the Principal, Government College, Chittur , Chittur College P. O. , Palakkad, Kerala State , Pin- 678 104, obtain tender forms on which tenders should be submitted . Application for the tender form should be accompanied by a cash remittance of Rs . 400 in addition to the sales tax which is the price fixed for a form/set of forms which is not refundable at any circumstances . The tender forms are not transferable . Sale of tender forms will be closed at 2 p. m. on every day. Cheques, Demand Drafts , Postal Orders will not be accepted nor will the form be sent by V. P. P. However, this can be had by registered post by sending Money Order Rs. 466. (Tender form Rs . 400+ Tax Rs . 16+ Postage Rs . 50) . Duplicate tender forms if required will be issued at Rs . 208 per copy and Rs . 50 per postage, Total Rs . 258 only .

The tender should be accompanied with a written undertaking in Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs . 100 and EMD may be sent accordingly . The payment of the supply of equipments should be made only after the testing of concerned authorities .

The undersigned reserves full right to alter or to cancel the tender date , if it comes to be necessary .

Last date of receipt of tender is 11-1-2011 , 3 p . m . and will be opened at 4 p . m . on the same day in the presence of the tenderers or their authorized representatives who may be present at that time . Tenderers should submit their tenders in the prescribed form which can be had from the undersigned on all working days from 10 a. m. to 2 p . m . on cash payment of Rs . 156 (150 + 4 % VAT) for original tender and Rs . 104 ( 100 + 4 % VAT) for the duplicate . Those who wish to get tender forms by post should send Money Order for cost of tender form and VAT along with the charge of Registered Post . The tender forms are not transferable.

An agreement in the prescribed form in Kerala Government Stamp Paper worth Rs . 100 should be executed along with the tender . The rate quoted in the tender should be inclusive of all taxes .

Sale of tender form will be closed at 2 p . m . on 4-1-2011 . D. D. in the name of the Principal, Govt . College , Mokeri for Rs . 500 (Rupees Five hundred only) towards the EMD drawn in favour of SBT, Kuttiadi should be attached to the tender .
