In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 13 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974), the High Court of Kerala hereby: .
(ii) Appoints the said Sri K. K. Anujan as Honorary Special Judicial Magistrate of the Second Class (Railways), Kollam for a period of one year with effect from 1-1-2011.
(iii) Further confers upon him under Section 261 of the said code, the powers to try summarily the offences set out earlier.

(i) Confers upon Sri K. K. Anujan, Sree Lekhshmi, Thittamel, Near Government Hospital Junction, M. C. Road, Chengannur all the powers conferred upon a Magistrate of the First Class under the said code in respect of all cases of persons travelling without a proper pass or ticket over any part of the Southern Railway within the districts of Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam and Alappuzha and that part of the district of Ernakulam which lies to the south of and inclusive of Ernakulam Junction and Cochin harbour terminus or committing over any part of the said Railway in the above said area, any of the offences falling, under Sections 137 to 139, 141 and 142,144 to 147, 155 to 157, 159, 162, 163, 166 and 167 of the Indian Railways Act, 1989 (Central Act 24 of 1989) ;

said code in regard to cases generally arising in the corporation area of Kozhikode district and empowers him to try such cases sitting singly in the said area ;
(ii) Appoints the said Sri V. P. Sudhakaran as Honorary Special Judicial Magistrate of the Second Class, Kozhikode for a period with effect from the date of assumption of the charge till 2-11-2011 and ;
(iii) Further confers upon him under Section 261 of the said code, the powers to try summarily the offences set out earlier.

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 190 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 (Act 2 of 1974), the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kozhikode is hereby specifically empowers the person appointed by the Hon'ble High Court of Kerala as Honorary Special Judicial Second Class Magistrate, Kozhikode, whose name is shown under Column I of the Schedule given under to take cognizance u/s. 190 (1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 of such offences which are within their competence to enquire into or try for a period of one year with effect from assumption of the charge till 2-11-2011.

ടെ≠ർ സമർപ്പിക്കുന്നവർ ആവശ്യമായ നിരതദ്രവ്യം സമർപ്പിക്കേ≠താണ്. ജയിൽ സുരക്ഷയുടെ ഭാഗമായി ജയിൽ മതിലിന് അറ്റകുറ്റപ്പണി നടത്തേ≠ിവന്നാലോ പ്രകൃതിക്ഷോഭംമൂലം കേടുപാടുകൾ സംഭവിച്ചാലോ ഉ≠ാകാവുന്ന കഷ്ടനഷ്ടങ്ങൾക്ക് ജയിൽ വകുപ്പ് ഉത്തരവാദി ആയിരിക്കുന്നതല്ല. ലഭിക്കുന്ന ദർഘാസുകൾ അവ സമർപ്പിച്ചവരോ അവരുടെ ഏജന്റുമാരോ ഹാജരു≠െങ്കിൽ അവരുടെ സാന്നിദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ നി›ിത ദിവസം നി›ിത സമയത്ത് തുറന്നു പരിശോധിക്കുന്നതും ഏറ്റവും കൂടിയ നിരക്ക് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന ആളിന്റെ ദർഘാസ് അഡീഷണൽ ഡയറക്ടർ ജനറൽ ഓഫ് പോലീസ് (പ്രിസൺസ്) അവർകളുടെ അംഗീകാരത്തിനായി സമർപ്പിക്കുന്നതും അംഗീകാരം കിട്ടുന്ന മുറയ്ക്ക് വിവരം രേഖാമൂലം അറിയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതുമാണ്. യാതൊരു അറിയിപ്പും കൂടാതെ ദർഘാസ് റദ്ദ് ചെയ്യുവാനുള്ള അധികാരം ജയിൽ വകുപ്പ് മേധാവിയിൽ നിക്ഷിപ്തമായിരിക്കും. കൂടുതൽ വിവരങ്ങൾക്ക് ജില്ലാ ജയിൽ സൂപ്ര≠് ആഫീസുമായി പ്രവർത്തി ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ നേരിട്ട് ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടാൽ ലഭിക്കുന്നതാണ്.
