S. R. O. No. 18/2011.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (f) of section 2 and section 5 of the Kerala Industrial Single Window Clearance Boards and Industrial Township Area Development Act, 1999 (5 of 2000), the Government of Kerala hereby declare Technopark Area, Kollam District to be an Industrial Area of the State and constitute a Single Window Clearance Board for the said area to be known as "Kollam Technopark Single Window Clearance Board" for the purpose of speedy issue of various licences, clearances or certificates required under the various state enactments for setting up of small scale industrial undertakings or industrial undertakings with the members mentioned in the Schedule below, namely:—

1. Principal Secretary to Government, Information Technology Department. 2. District Collector, Kollam.
3. Chief Executive Officer, Technopark, Kollam.
4. Project Manager, Technopark, Kollam.
5. District Officer, State Pollution Control Board, Kollam.
6. District Officer, Electrical Inspectorate, Kollam.
7. District Officer, Town Planning Department, Kollam.
29. Executive Engineer, Electrical Division, Kerala State Electricity Board, Kollam.
10. District Officer, Factories and Boilers Inspectorate, Kollam.
11. Assistant Divisional Officer, Fire and Rescue Services, Kollam.
12. Divisional Forest Officer, Kollam.
13. District Labour Officer, Kollam.
14. Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes Department, Kollam.
15. Executive Engineer, Kerala Water Authority, Kollam.
Under sub-section (4) of section 5 of the said Act, the Government of Kerala hereby appoint the Principal Secretary to Government, Information Technology Department to be the Chairman of the Board and the Project Manager, Technopark, Kollam to be its Convenor.

Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.)
As per clause (f) of section 2 and sub-section (i) of section 5 of the Kerala Industrial Single Window Clearance Boards and Industrial Township Area Development Act, 1999 (5 of 2000), Government may declare any area in the State to be an industrial area and constitute Single Window Clearance Board for the said area. Government have decided to declare the Technopark Area, Kollam District to be an industrial area and constitute a Single Window Clearance Board for the said area.
This notification is intended to achieve the above object.
