All the cases of persons travelling without proper pass or ticket over any part of Southern Railway within the District of Kollam and any offences falling under section 137 to 139, 141, 142, 144 to 147, 155 to 157, 159, 162, 163, 166 & 167 of Indian Railways Act, 1989 (Central Act 24 of 1989)(Sd.) In exercise of the powers conferred under section 190 (2) of the Code of the Criminal Procedure 1973 (Act 2 of 1974), the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kollam hereby empowers the Honarary Magistrate mentioned in Col. No.(1) of the schedule given below to take congnizance under sub section (1) of section 190 of the said Code of such offences mentioned in colomn No. (2) of the schedule to enquire into or try within the Sessions Division of Kollam for a further period of one Kollam. In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub-section (2) of section 190 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974), the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Alappuzha hereby specifically empowers the Special Judicial Magistrate of the Second Class (Railways) Kollam in the schedule shown below, to take cognizance under section 190 (1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure of such offences of persons travelling without a proper pass

അവകാശികളില്ലാതെ ഈ ആഫീസിൽ ഹാജരാക്കിയിട്ടുള്ള താഴെപ്പറയുന്ന മുതലുകൾക്ക് അവകാശികൾ ആരെങ്കിലും ഉ≠െങ്കിൽ ഈ നോട്ടീസ് ഗസറ്റിൽ പരസ്യപ്പെടുത്തി മൂന്നു മാസത്തിനകം തക്കതായ തെളിവ് സഹിതം തൃശ്ശൂർ സബ് ഡിവിഷണൽ മജിസ്ട്രേറ്റ് മുമ്പാകെ ഹാജരാകുകയാ ണെങ്കിൽ പ്രസ്തുത മുതലുകൾ വിട്ടുകൊടുക്കുന്നതാണ്.

(ii)

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 14 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974), the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Alappuzha hereby defines the area specified in Column (2) of the schedule hereunder as the area within which the Magistrate mentioned in column (1) of the schedule may exercise for a period of one year from 1-1-2011, all or any of the powers invested on him by the Hon'ble High Court of Kerala as per the Notification reffered to above.
