Competitive tenders in separate sealed covers are invited for the purchase of Prooving ring for Direct Shear Apparatus 5 KN capacity, Triaixial cell of testing specimen size 38 mm×76 mm & 50 mm×100 mm and Thermostatically controlled oven (of volume 30×30×30 cm inner size) listed below on behalf of the undersigned from authorized dealers and manufactures.

SPECIFICATION
Double wall hot air oven fabricated
of metal sheet and designed to give
efficient gravity air circulation.
Double walls with the space in
between lagged with insulating
materials to provide good heat insulation. Two doors are provided.
The inner door is made of glass on
asbestos frame to facilitate
observation. The inner chamber is
made of Aluminium provided with
removable netting shelves and
rammers so that the shelf spacing
can be adjusted. Temperature in the
working space is automatically
maintained at any desired value
within the working range after the
thermometer is set by observing a
pilot lamp. Fire temperature control
can be obtained with the help of
the adjustable hot air vent provided
at the top suitably placed long-time
heating element permit easy
replacements when required. A hole
is provided at the top for the
insertion of a thermometer.

The envelopes containing the tender should be superscripted "Supply of Prooving ring for Direct Shear Apparatus, Triaixial Cell of testing specimen with accessories and Thermostatically controlled oven". As the case may be and should be addressed to the Deputy Director, Soil Mechanics and Foundations Division, Kerala Engineering Research Institute, Peechi, Thrissur-680 653.
The last date of receipt of tender is 1 p. m. on 4-2-2011.
The tender will be opened at 3 p. m. on 4-2-2011 by the undersigned or the officer authorised by him/her. Due to any reason if the tender date is a holiday the tenders will be received and opened on the next working day. The firm period of the tender is one month from the date of receipt of tender. The tender documents and other particulars can be had from the office of the undersigned during working days from 25-1-2011 onwards. The application in writing and on payment of value of documents (non-refundable) either in cash or by money order. The postal charge of document is ` 50 and sufficient EMD pledged in favour of the Deputy Director, Soil Mechanics and Foundations Division, Kerala Engineering Research Institute, Peechi, Thrissur-680 653.
Tenders without sufficient EMD and preliminary agreement will be summarily rejected. All rules and regulations prevailing in Kerala WRD/PWD for stores purchase are applicable to this also.

ദർഘാസ് പ്രമാണങ്ങൾ നി›ിത വില (തിരികെ ലഭിക്കു ന്നതല്ല) രൊക്കം പണമായോ മണിയോർഡർ ആയോ അടച്ച് അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്ന കരാറുകാർക്ക് ലഭിക്കുന്നതായിരിക്കും.
തപാലിൽ ലഭിക്കേ≠വർ തപാൽ ചെലവ് അധികം അടയ്ക്കേ ≠താണ്. പൂരിപ്പിച്ച ദർഘാസുകൾ തപാലിലോ സ്പീഡ് പോസ്റ്റിലോ അയയ്ക്കേ≠താണ്. നേരിട്ടോ കൊറിയർ മുഖേനയോ അയയ്ക്കുന്നവ നിരസിക്കുന്നതാണ്. നി›ിത സമയം കഴിഞ്ഞുലഭിക്കുന്നവയും നിരസിക്കുന്നതാണ്.

ദർഘാസുകൾ ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി ഡയറക്ടറോ അദ്ദേഹം അധികാരപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുള്ള മറ്റ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരോ ഹാജരുള്ള കരാറുകാരുടെ സാന്നിദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ തുറക്കുന്നതാണ്. ഏതെങ്കിലും കാരണവശാൽ നി›ിത ദിവസം അവധിയായാൽ അടുത്ത പ്രവൃത്തി ദിവസം നി›ിത സമയം വരെ ദർഘാസുകൾ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നതും തുറക്കുന്നതുമാണ്. ദർഘാസിന്റെ കാലാവധി സ്വീകരിക്കുന്ന തീയതി മുതൽ 4 മാസം വരെയായിരിക്കും.
ദർഘാസ് പ്രമാണങ്ങൾ കൈമാറാൻ പാടുള്ളതല്ല.
ഉപകരണങ്ങൾ സ്ഥാപിച്ചുതരേ≠തും പ്രവർത്തിപ്പിച്ചു കാണിക്കേ≠തുമാണ്.
ദർഘാസ് സംബന്ധിച്ച കൂടുതൽ വിവരങ്ങൾക്ക് താഴെ ഒപ്പുവച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥന്റെ ഓഫീസിൽനിന്നും 25-1-2011 വൈകിട്ട് 4 മണിവരെ എല്ലാ പ്രവൃത്തി ദിവസങ്ങളിലും ലഭിക്കുന്നതാണ്. ദർഘാസുകളോടൊപ്പം ` 100-ന്റെ മുദ്രപ്പത്രത്തിൽ തയ്യാറാക്കിയ പ്രാഥമിക എഗ്രിമെന്റും ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി ഡയറക്ടർ, എസ്.എം. ആന്റ ് എഫ്. ഡിവിഷൻ, കെ.ഇ.ആർ.എെ., പീച്ചിയുടെ പേരിൽ πഡ്ജ് ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള ഇ.എം.ഡി.യും അടക്കം ചെയ്തിരിക്കേ≠താണ്.
അല്ലാത്തവ നിരസിക്കുന്നതാണ്. കേരള ജലവിഭവ/പൊതുമരാമത്ത് വകുപ്പുകളിലെ ദർഘാസ് സംബന്ധിച്ച എല്ലാ നിയമങ്ങളും വ്യവസ്ഥകളും ഈ ദർഘാസിനും ബാധകമായിരിക്കും.
