TENDER NOTICE
No. D4-3705/2010/SE. 4th January 2011.
Competitive tenders in sealed covers superscribing the name of work is invited by the Superintending Engineer, Harbour Engineering South Circle, Thiruvananthapuram for and on behalf of the Governor of Kerala for the following work from registered 'A' class Electrical Contractors/Firms of State Public Works Department, Irrigation Department, Central Public Works Department, Port Trust etc. through Registered Post or Speed Post. Tenders submitted through any courier service or by hand will not be considered.
Tender Number and Name of work with PAC— 46/HESC/2010-11—Electrification of main approach road to Kollam Port— ` 75,13,032.
E. M. D.— ` 50,000.
Cost of tender form— ` 11,300 + VAT @ 4%.
Period of Completion—4 months.
Class of Registration—"A" Class Electrical.
Name of Division—Harbour Engineering Division, Kollam.
The tender forms can be had from the office of the undersigned from 27-1-2011 to 2-2-2011 from 10.15 a. m. to 3 p. m. and upto 1 p. m. on 3-2-2011 on application in writing, proving the eligibility and on payment of cost and VAT. Tenders in sealed covers superscribing the name of work should reach the undersigned on or before 3 p. m. on 11-2-2011 by Registered/Speed Post only. Tenders received after 3 p. m. on 11-2-2011, due to postal delay or on any other reasons will not be considered. Department will not be responsible for such delay. If the last date fixed for submission of tender is declared to be a holiday, tenders will be accepted till 3 p. m. on the next working day. Exchange of tender documents is prohibited.
Preliminary Agreement signed in Kerala Stamp Paper worth ` 100 and required EMD as Demand Draft pledged in favour of the Superintending Engineer, Harbour Engineering South Circle, Kamaleswaram, Thiruvananthapuram should also be accompanied along with the tender. Tenders submitted without enclosing the preliminary agreement and required E.M.D. will be rejected outright. The tenders received will be opened at 3.30 p. m. on 11-2-2011 in the presence of the tenderers or25th JAN. 2011] MARINE DEPARTMENT 16 `
their authorized representatives present at the time of opening. The firm period of the tender will be four months (4 months) from the date of opening of the tender. All the conditions regarding the notice inviting tenders in the P.W.D./HED and allied orders will be applicable to this tender. Government Order (Rt.) No. 255/ 2004/F&PD dated 29-6-2004 and allied orders will be applicable to this tender.
The undersigned reserves the right to deny any application for tender documents or to reject the tender without assigning any reason. While evaluating tenders, regard would be paid to National Defence and Security considerations.
