The tenders should be superscribed the Tender No. D1-4564/2010 due on 8-3-2011 at 2 p. m. and addressed to the Principal, Government Engineering College, Wayanad. Late tenders will not be accepted. The tenders will be opened at 3 p. m. on 8-3-2011 in the presence of such of the tenderers or their authorised representatives who may be present at the time.

Intending tenderers may on application to the Principal, Government Engineering College, Wayanad obtain the requisite tender forms in which tenders should be submitted. Application for the tender forms should be accompanied by a cash remittance of ` 728 which is the price fixed for a form/set of forms and which is not refundable under any circumstances. 5. Tenders should furnish an agreement in the prescribed format in the Kerala Stamp Paper worth ` 100 along with the tender form.

6. An Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) not below 1% of the total cost should be enclosed as Demand Draft or Bank Guarantee from a Nationalised Bank along with the duly filled in tender form.

7. An amount not below 5% of the total cost of the items supplied, is to be submitted, either as a Demand Draft or a Bank Guarantee from a Nationalised Bank while supplying items as security deposit.

8. A minimum of 12 months (from the date of supply) on site guarantee is to be given to the items.

9. Tenders received after the due date and time will not be considered.

10. Power is bestowed upon the Principal, Residential Women's Polytechnic College, Payyanur-670 307, to reject/cancel all or any tenders/tender forms without stating any reason therein.
