Inclusion of Register Number in the short list does not confer any right on the candidate to be called for Physical Efficiency Test or for subsequent inclusion in the Ranked List.

(2) The Short List is prepared based on the details furnished by the candidate in the application and subsequent claims made will not be entertained at any stage.

The candidates who have secured 26 (Twenty six) marks and above are included in the Main List of this Short List. The requisite marks have been lowered to the extent necessary in respect of the Supplementary Lists.

SC/ST candidates included in the Short List are required to produce 2 copies of Community Certificate issued for producing before Public Service Commission.

The candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes included in the Short List, who are required to produce Non Creamy Layer Certificate as per GO (P) No. 117/08/ SC/ST/DD dated 19-12-2008 or GO (P) No. 81/09/SC/ ST/DD dated 26-9-2009 shall produce the same along with the other documents mentioned above as and when called for. Such candidates in the main list who fail to produce the required Community Certificate/Non Creamy Layer Certificate will not be entitled to the benefit of community reservation and will be considered as Open Competition Candidates.

The date, time and place of Physical Efficiency Test will be intimated in due course.

According to the existing procedure, revaluation of answer scripts is not allowed. But candidates can apply for re-checking of their answer scripts after publication of the Ranked List for the post.

Copy of the answer scripts of the OMR test held on 9-1-2009 will be issued to those candidates who apply for the same remitting the prescribed fee after publication of the Ranked List. Candidates whose register numbers are invalidated are advised to refer to notification No. ERIII/3852/07/EW dated 23-4-2010.

The following is the list of candidates for selection to the post of 2nd Grade D'man/Overseer (Mechanical) (Category No. 241/07) on ` 6680-10790 in the PWD/Irrigation Department found suitable by the Commission and arranged in the order of merit. This Ranked List is brought into force w.e.f. 26-4-2010.

The List will be in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new Ranked List after the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates from this list will be advised for appointment in accordance with the rules and orders regarding reservation and rotation as amended from time to time, if applicable, against vacancies reported to the Commission during the pendency of the list. As the advise for8th FEB. 2011] KERALA GAZETTE 175 appointment depends on the occurrence of vacancies, there is no guarantee that all the candidates included in the list will secure appointment. The candidates remaining in the list at the time of cancellation will have no claim at all for appointment on the basis of the inclusion of their names in the list.

According to the existing procedure, revaluation of answer script is not allowed. But answer script will be rechecked if the candidates apply for it with a chalan receipt for the prescribed fee of ` 50 (Rupees fifty only) remitted in any one of the Treasuries in the State under the Head of Account "0051 PSC 105 State PSC 99 Examination Fee" addressed to the Deputy Secretary, (Examinations-1), Kerala Public Service Commission, Pattom P. O., Thiruvananthapuram 695 004 and should reach the office within 30 days from the date of publication of the Ranked List. Application for re-checking after the stipulated time will not be entertained and fee once remitted will not be refunded.

Applications for re-checking of answer scripts should be submitted in the prescribed form available free of cost from the enquiry sections of the various offices of the commission or its photocopy or downloaded printout printed in A4 size paper from the Commission's Website www.keralapsc.org or photocopied therefrom. Applications submitted in any other manner will not be considered. Applications for rechecking received from candidates whose answer scripts have been invalidated will not be considered.

In the case of candidates who send applications for re-checking in the prescribed form within the prescribed time limit enclosing original chalan receipt as stated above, the markes awarded will be re-checked and the result of the rechecking will be intimated to the candidates from this office.

Entries are based on the communities specified by the candidates in their application forms and proved by them with necessary documents. The candidates whose communities have not been correctly noted in this list as proved by them in their application should intimate the fact to the Deputy Secretary, (Examinations-1), Kerala Public Service Commission, Thiruvananthapuram-695 004 within one month from the date of publication of this list to get the benefit of reservation to which they are entitled. In the absence of timely information regarding discrepancies, if any, the candidates will be advised as incorporated in the list.

Candidates who wish to obtain a photocopy of their answer sheet (Part A & Part B) relating to this selection shall remit a fee of ` 200 by way of chalan if any of the Treasuries in the State (Head of Account 0051-PSC-800- other receipts 99-other receipts). The duly filled up application in the prescribed form (available from the Commission's Website) along with the original chalan should be submitted to the Deputy Secretary, (Examinations-1), Kerala Public Service Commission, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram within one month from the date of publication of the ranked list. A copy of the answer sheet will be issued only once to a candidate. Copies of OMR sheet invalidated due to any defect will not be issued. Candidates are prohibited from applying for a copy of answer sheet which is not their own, and legal proceedings will be initiated against those who do so.

(2) Candidates who wish to obtain a photocopy of their OMR answer sheet (Part A & Part B) relating to this selection shall remit the fee of ````` 200 in any of the Treasuries in the State (Head of Account 0051 PSC-105 State PSC - 99 other Receipts). The marks have been lowered to the extent necessary in respect of candidates included in the Supplementary lists. .

The date, time and place of interview will be intimated in due course.

Note:—(1) Inclusion of register numbers in this list is purely provisional subject to the absolute scrutiny of applications. Inclusion in the short list does not confer any right on the candidate to be called for interview or for subsequent inclusion in the Ranked List.

(2) The Short List is prepared based on the details furnished by the candidate in the application and subsequent claims made will not be entertained at any stage.

(3) The candidates included in the Short List are directed to send self attested copies of documents to prove their claim made in the application, ie, date of birth, community and other benefits, if any, they are entitled to, to the District Officer, KPSC District Office, Kasaragod within 15 days from the date of publication of this notification. The register number of those candidates who do not produce the required documents within the prescribed time limit and whose applications found otherwise defective will be deleted from the Short List without further notice.

The candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes included in the Short List, who are required to produce Non Creamy Layer Certificate as per G.O. (P) No.117/2008/ SC/ST DD dated 19-12-2008 or G.O. (P)No.81/2009/SC/ST DD dated 26-9-2009 shall produce the same at the time of interview. Such candidates in the Main List who fail to produce the required Non Creamy Layer Certificate will not be entitled to the benefit of community reservation and will be considered as Open Competition candidates. As regards such candidates in the Supplementary lists of Other Backward Classes, their register numbers will be deleted from the Short List without further notice, if they fail to produce the Non Creamy Layer Certificate.

(1) The candidates whose Scripts have been invalidated vide Notification No. ER VII (1) 4337/ 09/EW dated 15-2-2010 and 31-3-2010 are not considered for inclusion in this list.

(2) Register No. 110157 has not been included in the Short List as the candidate failed to furnish the Identification Certificate pertaining to the Category No. 66/06.

According to the existing procedure, revaluation of answer scripts is not allowed. But answer scripts will be rechecked only after the publication of the Ranked List.
