TENDER NOTICE

No. C1-2865/2009. 5th February 2011.
Sealed competitive tenders are invited from the manufacturers or authorised distributors/dealers for the supply of Incubator for poultry eggs (One Double setter and one single hatcher) to Central Hatchery, Chengannur.
Cost of tender form :
Original—` 1,400 + VAT 4%.
Duplicate—` 700 + VAT 4%.
Sealed cover containing tender should be superscribed with Tender No. and name of item and addressed to the Production Manager, Central Hatchery, Angadical P.O., Chengannur, Kerala State-689 122 and should reach this office on or before the time and date specified below. Intending tenderer should sent only exact amount required by money order for the supply of tender form. Cheques, Postage Stamps, Postal Orders, Demand Drafts etc. will not be accepted towards the cost of tender forms not the form be sent by VPP. Tender forms can also be had from this office during office hours on payment of cost in cash. An EMD of 1% of the total quoted amount has to be submitted with the tender by Demand Draft in favour of the Production Manager, Central Hatchery, Chengannur, Angadical P.O., Chengannur payable at SBT, Chengannur.

4-3-2011 at 10.30 a.m.
Date and time of opening of tender—4-3-201l at 11.30 a.m.
The rate quoted should be inclusive of all charges and delivery at Central Hatchery, Chengannur. Supply should be effected within 20 days of firm supply order. Payment will be effected on receipt of items at this office.
All Government rules prevailing will be applicable to this tender. The Production Manager is empowered to cancel any or all the tenders without assigning any reason thereof. Further details can be had from this office during office hours.

കേരള സർക്കാരിന്റെ എല്ലാ ദർഘാസ് വ്യവസ്ഥകളും ഇതിനും ബാധകമാണ്. യാതൊരു കാരണവും ബോധിപ്പിക്കാതെ തന്നെ ഏതെങ്കിലും അല്ലെങ്കിൽ എല്ലാ ദർഘാസുകളും നിരസി ക്കുവാനുള്ള അധികാരം പ്രൊഡക്ഷൻ മാനേജരിൽ നിക്ഷിപ്തമാണ്. പൂരിപ്പിച്ച ദർഘാസുകൾ പ്രൊഡ ക്ഷൻ മാനേജർ, സെൻട്രൽ ഹാച്ചറി, അങ്ങാടിക്കൽ പി. ഒ., ചെങ്ങന്നൂർ-689 122, കേരള എന്ന പേരിൽ ലഭിച്ചിരി ക്കണം. കവറിനുപുറത്ത് സാധനത്തിന്റെ പേര്, ദർഘാസ് നമ്പർ എന്നിവ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തണം.
കൂടുതൽ വിവരങ്ങൾക്കും അന്വേഷണങ്ങൾക്കും സെൻട്രൽ ഹാച്ചറിയിൽ പ്രവർത്തി ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ ആഫീസ് സമയത്ത് വന്നാൽ മതിയാകും.
SPECIFICATIONS
1. Setter
Model, Double Setter.
Capacity 30000 egg setter. Preference will be given for those with expandable facility to set more eggs.
Fully automatic.
Turning system which work using timer, micro switch, gears and gear motor. Turning at one hour interval with counter, facility for annual turning (Electronic system not required).
Body made with Fibre/High class sheets, with inner lining of puff/thermocol.
Setting trays made of quality plastic/fibre should be washable and durable.
Operates on 230 VA C single phase, 50 Hz low power consumption, Max 2.5 k.w and normal 1.5 k.w.
Automatic water and air cooling to take care of temperature stability.
Primary and secondary heater temperature control with contact thermometer.
Automatic humidity system with dry and wet Hygrometer.
U type Heaters.

. Operates on 230 VAC single phase, 50 Hz low power consumption, Max 2.25 K.W and normal 1.3 K.W
Hatching trays made quality plastic/fibre should be washable and durable.
Automatic water and air cooling to take care of temperature stability.
Operation: Primary heater, secondary heater, humidity water and air cool working with separate relay boxes and contact thermometer.
U type Heaters.
Trolley: Easily movable and should be durable.

Manual and automatic ventilation
Flooring inside should be with marble/tiled with vitrified tiles.
The tenders should be superscribed "Tender for the supply of Reagent Chemicals and other Scientific items" and addressed to the Joint Chemical Examiner, Regional Chemical Examiners Laboratory, Kakkanad, Ernakulam, Kochi-30. Late tenders will not be accepted. The tenders will be opened at 4 p. m. on 4-3-2011 in the presence of such of the tenderers or their authorised representatives who may be present at that time. Due date of receipt of tender is fixed as 2 p. m. on 4-3-2011.
Estimated cost of purchase—` 3 lakh (three lakh only)
Earnest Money Deposit—` 3,000 (three thousand only)
Intending tenderers may on application to the Joint Chemical Examiner obtain the requisite tender form on which tender should be submitted. Application for the tender form should be accompanied by a cash remittance of ` 700 which is the price fixed for a form which is not refundable under any circumstances. The tender forms are not transferable. Sale of tender forms closed at 4 p. m. on 3-3-2011. Cheques, Postage stamps etc. will not be accepted towards the cost of forms nor will the forms be sent per VPP.
