Social Studies (Malayalam Medium) in the Education Department in Idukki District, finalized on 16-9-2010, the following amendment is issued as per G. O. (P) 24/2010/P & ARD dated 2-8-2010.

The subtitle of the Supplementary List SIUC Nadar/AI is modified as SIUC Nadar and the Latin Catholic as LC/AI and an additional subtitle Hindu-Nadar is included under Supplementary lists.

A copy of an answer sheet will be issued only once to a candidate. Copies of OMR answer sheets invalidated due to any defect will not be issued. Candidates are prohibited from applying for a copy of an answer sheet which is not their own, and legal proceedings will be initiated against those who do so.

(2) A period of forty five days time for rechecking of Answer Scripts will be allowed to candidates with effect from the date of approval of Ranked List. The candidates can avail only one chance after the approval of Ranked List.

Candidates desiring to rechecked the answer script relating to the written test held for selection to the post may apply for rechecking within 45 days from the date of approvel of the Ranked List.

Note:—(1) Inclusion of Register Numbers in this list is purely provisional subject to absolute scrutiny of applications. Inclusion in the Short List does not confer any right on the candidate to be called for interview and subsequent inclusion in the Ranked List.

(2) The Short List is prepared based on the details furnished by the candidate in the application and subsequent claims made will not be entertained at any stage.

(3) The candidates included in the Short List are directed to send self attested copies of documents to prove their claim made in the application. i.e., Date of Birth, Community and other benefits if any, they are entitled to, to the District Officer, KPSC District Office, Kasaragod within 15 days from the date of publication of this notification. The Register Numbers of those candidates who do not produce the required documents within the prescribed time limit and whose applications found otherwise defective will be deleted from the Short List without further notice.

The candidates belonging to SC/ST communities should produce the Community Certificate as stipulated in G.O. (Ms.) No. 318/08/Rev. dated 23-9-2008.

The candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes included in the Short List are required to produce Non Creamy Layer Certificate issued within one year as per the G. O. (P) No. 117/08/SCST-DD dated 19-12-2008, G. O. (P) No. 81/09/SCSTDD dated 26-9-2009 shall produce the same at the time of interview.

Such candidates in the Main List who fail to produce the required Non Creamy Layer Certificate will not be entitled to the benefit of community reservation and will be considered as Open Competition Candidates. As regards such candidates in the supplementary lists of other backward classes, their register numbers will be deleted from the Short List without further notice, if they failed to produce the Non Creamy Layer Certificate.

The candidates whose scripts have been invalidated vide notification No. ERII (1) 614/10/EW dated 15-10-2010 are not considered for inclusion in this list.

According to the existing procedure, revaluation of answer scripts is not allowed. But answer scripts will be rechecked and photocopy of answer scripts will be issued only after the publication of the Ranked List, if applied as per rules. Detailed instructions in this regard will be issued in the Ranked List notification.
