TENDER NOTICE
[No. 8/2011-12]
No. A-468/2011. 10th November 2011.
Sealed and competitive tenders are invited from reputed Dealers/Firms for the supply of Fume Exhaust Hood for the use of State Laboratory for Live stock, Marine and Agri. Products, Maradu, Ernakulam for the year 2011-12.
Tenders submitted should have the following enclosures:
1. Original tender form duly signed by authorized signatory.
2. Specification of the item quoted with rate (inclusive of all taxes and other charges) and for delivery at State Laboratory for Livestock, Marine and Agri. Products, Maradu, Ernakulam.
3. Preliminary agreement in Kerala stamp paper worth ` 50.
4. EMD @ 1% of total cost of the items quoted inclusive of tax in the form of Demand Draft in favour of the Livestock Products Inspecting Officer, Ernakulam and payable at Ernakulam.
5. Copy of ownership/distributorship/dealership certificate.
6. ISO Certificate , if any.
7. An affidavit in Kerala stamp paper worth ` 50 notarized by a Notary Public of either the place where the person making the affidavit is residing or of Ernakulam signed by the owner of the firm.
8. Brochures/Catalogues of the item quoted.
9. Details-Letter from original manufacturer in case of agents regarding assurance of supply of spare parts, AMC conditions (period of visits in a year etc.) warranty conditions, years of warranty. In case of agents authorization letter from the manufacturer.
10. List of institutions in Kerala where the equipment has been supplied.
The tender should be superscribed as "Tender No. 8/2011-2012 for the Supply of Fume Exhaust Hood for the use of State Laboratory for Livestock, Marine and Agri. Products, Ernakulam for the year 2011-12" and addressed to the Livestock Products Inspecting Officer, State Laboratory for Livestock, Marine and Agri. Products, Maradu, Nettor, Ernakulam Pin-682 040.
Tender forms can be obtained from this Office on all working days from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. upto 12-12-2011, 4.30 p.m. on payment of ` 400+VAT @ 4% in person or by request through money order, for ` 400+VAT @ 4% + postal charges of ` 20 addressed to the "Livestock Products Inspecting Officer, State Laboratory for Livestock, Marine and Agri. Products, Ernakulam, Maradu, Nettoor-682 040". Duplicate copy of tender forms if required will be issued on payment of ` 200+VAT 4% per copy. Cost of tender form so remitted will not be refunded under any circumstances. The tender forms are not transferable.

Date up to which the rates are to be firm for acceptance—31-3-2012.
Designation and address of the Officer from whom the tender forms are to be obtained and to whom the tenders are to be submitted—Livestock Products Inspecting Officer, State Laboratory for Livestock, Marine and Agri. Products, Ernakulam, Maradu, Nettoor-682 040.
If any of the dates scheduled for receipt and opening of the tenders are declared as holidays, tenders will be opened on the next working day at the same time mentioned above.
Tender must be submitted in sealed covers. Tenders should be submitted in original tender forms (K.F.C. No. 14) authenticated by the tenderer. Belated tenders, tenders without EMD, Agreement and not as per tender specifications will not be accepted at any cost.
E.M.D. @ 1% of the total cost of item in the form of crossed demand draft drawn in favour of the undersigned payable at any nationalized bank in Ernakulam should be attached alongwith the tender. An agreement in Kerala Stamp Paper worth ` 50 (As in Page 8 of tender) should be executed and attached with the tender. The maximum period of warranty that can be assured by the firm the item should be mentioned.
The rate quoted should be inclusive of all taxes, CESS and other charges if any and should be F.O.R., State Laboratory for Livestock, Marine and Agri. Products, Conditions of supply, firm period of the rate quoted in tender and any other conditions should be specified in the tender. The item should be delivered at State Laboratory for Livestock, Marine and Agri. Products (SLMAP), Ernakulam, Maradu, Nettoor P. O., Ernakulam, Pin-682 040 by the respective tenderer at their own cost and initial installation with trial run should be conducted by the firm.
Sealed tenders with all the above details should reach this Office before 4.30 p.m. on 13-12-2011 itself. The tenders will be opend at 11.30 a.m. on 14-12-2011 in the presence of such tenderers or their authorized representatives who may be present at that time. The lowest tender will be accepted subject to the approval of the Director of Animal Husbandry, Thiruvananthapuram. The item should be supplied within one month on receipt of supply order from this office. Free after sales service (which includes all repairing and replacement of spares) atleast upto the completion of warranty period for the item, should be given, and an agreement in stamp paper worth ` 100 should be executed by the firm at the time of delivery. Moreover a security deposit not less than 5% of the total cost of items in the form of crossed demand draft drawn in favour of the undersigned payable at any Nationalised Bank in Ernakulam should be submitted at the time of delivery. EMD will be refunded only on receipt of the security deposit. Payment of the cost of item so supplied will be made only after executing the agreement, submission of the security deposit, ascertaining quality of items and after the successful installation and trial run of the items supplied.
The undersigned has full right to reject the tenders without assigning any specific reasons.

മേൽപ്രകാരമുള്ള ടെ≠റുകൾ 13-12-2011 രാവിലെ 4.30 മണി വരെ ഈ ഓഫീസിൽ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നതാണ്. അപ്രകാരം ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ടെ≠റുകൾ 14-12-2011-ന് 11.30 മണിക്ക് അപ്പോൾ സന്നിഹിതരായിട്ടുള്ള ടെ≠ർ നൽകിയവരുടെ/അവർ ചുമതല പ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുള്ള ആളുകളുടെ സാന്നിദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ തുറന്ന് പരിശോധിക്കുന്നതും ഏറ്റവും കുറവ് നിരക്ക് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയ സ്ഥാപനത്തിന്റെ പേർക്ക് മൃഗസംരക്ഷണ വകുപ്പ് ഡയറക്ടറുടെ അംഗീകാരത്തിന് വിധേയമായി ഉറപ്പിക്കുന്നതുമായിരിക്കും. ഈ ഓഫീസിൽ നിന്നും വിതരണം നടത്തുന്നതിന് നിർദ്ദേശം ലഭിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ ഒരാഴ്ചയ്ക്കുള്ളിൽ എല്ലാ ഉപകരണങ്ങളും വിതരണം ചെയ്യേ≠താണ്. ചുരുങ്ങിയത് ഗ്യാരന്റി/വാറന്റി കാലയളവ് തീരുന്നതുവരെ ഉപകരണങ്ങൾക്ക് ആവശ്യമായ എല്ലാ പരിശോധനകളും അറ്റകുറ്റ പണികളും വിതരണം ചെയ്യുന്ന സ്ഥാപനം സ്വന്തം ചെലവിൽ നിർവ്വഹിക്കേ≠താണ്. അതിൻ പ്രകാരം ഉപകരണങ്ങൾ വിതരണം ചെയ്യുന്ന സമയത്ത് ` 100 സ്റ്റാമ്പ് പേപ്പറിൽ ഒരു എഗ്രിമെന്റ ് എഴുതി നൽകേ≠തും ഉപകരണങ്ങളുടെ മൊത്തം വിലയുടെ 5 ശതമാനത്തിൽ കുറയാത്ത തുകയ്ക്ക് എറണാകുളത്തുള്ള ഏതെങ്കിലും നാഷണലൈസ്ഡ് ബാങ്കിൽ മാറാവുന്നതും താഴെ ഒപ്പിട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ഓഫീസറുടെ പേർക്ക് എടുത്തിട്ടുള്ളതുമായ ക്രോസ് ചെയ്ത ഡിമാന്റ ് ഡ്രാഫ്റ്റും നൽകേ≠താണ്. ടെ≠റി നോടൊപ്പം നൽകിയിട്ടുള്ള ഇ.എം.ഡി. സെക്യൂരിറ്റി തുക ലഭിക്കുമ്പോൾ മടക്കി നൽകുന്നതും സെക്യൂരിറ്റി തുക 1. 3. The equipments should have a minimum warranty period of two years from the date of installation.
4. The equipments should be installed in the space designated by the Livestock Products Inspecting Officer for the same in the laboratory building.
5. Security deposit will be refunded only after successful completion of the warranty period.
6. The only jurisdiction for any dispute regarding this purchase will be at Ernakulam.
7. The sucessful tenderer should complete all supplies within the stipulated time stated in the supply order.
No extension of supply period will be granted.
8. The non availability of items price hike, transportation problems etc. will not be accepted as
reasons for non supply or late supply.
9. The Livestock Products Inspecting Officer, Ernakulam
reserves all rights to cancel the tender without
assigning any reason therof.
