SHORT TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited from the reputed manufacturers/suppliers for the supply of the following items to Periyar Tiger Reserve, East Division, Thekkady. The material should manufactured of top quality and durable and should be supplied within 15 days from the date of placing order.

If the date specified above happens to be a public holiday or the tender process cannot be conducted on account of any technical reasons, the attempt will be conducted on 20-12-2011 and the third attempt will be on 30-12-2011 at the same time schedule noted above. EMD must be submitted in form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Deputy Director (Project Tiger), Periyar East Division, Thekkady.
The tenders should be superscribed "Tender for the supply of (Name of the item)" and addressed to "Deputy Director (Project Tiger), Periyar Tiger Reserve, East Division,Thekkady. The tender should quote the rate of single unit of the item, freight charges and the taxes applicable for the purchase by Government Department separately. Tenders should be enclosed with sample piece of the item. The successful tender will have to sign an agreement in a stamp paper worth ` 100 regarding the successful execution of the supply in respect of quality, quantity and the period of supply. Late tenders will not be accepted. The tenders will be opened by the undersigned at 3.30 p. m. on 15-12-2011 in the presence of such of the tenderers or their authorized representatives who may be present at that time.
Intending tenderers may, on application to the Deputy Director (Project Tiger), Periyar East Division, Thekkady, obtain the requisite tender form on which tenders should be submitted. Application for the tender form should be accompanied by a cash remittance of ` 400+ 4% VAT which is the price fixed for a form/set of forms and which is not refundable under any circumstances. The tender forms are not transferable. Cheques, postage stamps, etc. will not be accepted towards the cost of forms, nor will the forms be sent per V.P.P. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any tender without assigning any reasons.
