Sealed competitive tenders are invited for the supply of Sports goods to Physical Education Department of Government Arts College, Thiruvananthapuram for the academic year 2011-12 under the University Grants Commission's Plan head purchase of sports goods.

The tenders should be superscribed as "Tender No. 1/2011-12. The tender for the supply of Sports goods to Physical Education Department Plan Fund 2011-12 purchase of Sports Goods" and should addressed to the Principal, Govt. Arts College, Thiruvananthapuram. The last date of receipt of tenders by the Principal is on 1-1-2012, 2 p. m. The tenders received after the last date and time will not be accepted. Tenders will be opened at 3 p. m. on 1-1-2012 in the presence of tenderers or their authorized representatives, who may be present at that time.

Thiruvananthapuram between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on all working days on payment of ` 500 +VAT 4% (` 520) per copy, which is the price fixed for a form and not refundable at any circumstances. The tender forms are not transferable. Duplicate tender forms if required will be issued at ` 200 + VAT 4% (` 208) per copy. Sale of tender form will be closed at 2 p.m. on 1-1-2012. Face value of the tender is ` 1,50,000.

Cheques, Demand Drafts and Postage Stamps will not be accepted towards the cost of tender forms. Those who wish to get tender form by post should send Money Order for ` 520 and stamped self addressed envelope for ` 50.

An agreement in Kerala Stamp Paper worth ` 100 is to be executed while submitting the tenders. The rate quoted should be inclusive of all taxes and other expenses and should be firm for a period of two months. In addition to the guarantee provided by the manufacturers, tender should provide warranty for one year. A cash deposit equivalent to one per cent of the cost of items tendered is to be deposited as Earnest Money by DD drawn in favour of the Principal, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. The item should be supplied to the Principal, Govt. Arts College, Thiruvananthapuram at the expenses of the tenderer.

Purchase of all equipments will be subjected to the technical evaluation of competent authority. Expense for the same shall be met by the quotationer.

Sealed competitive tenders are invited for the supply of Lab equipments to Physics and Biotechnology Department of Government Arts College, Thiruvananthapuram for the academic year 2011-12 under the UGC plan head, Development Assistance to Colleges under Graduates Assistance.

The tenders should be superscribed as "Tender No. 2/2011-12, the tender for the supply of Lab equipments" and should be addressed to the Principal, Govt. Arts College, Thiruvananthapuram. The last date of receipt of tenders by the Principal is on 1-1-2012, 2 p.m. The tenders received after the last date and time will not be accepted.
