Candidates desiring to get rechecked their answer script relating to the written test held for selection to the post may apply for rechecking within 30 days from the date of publication of the Ranked List.

Applications for rechecking of answer scripts should be submitted in the prescribed form available free of cost from the Enquiry sections of the various offices of the Commission or its photocopy, or downloaded and printed in A4 size paper from the Commission's Website www.keralapsc.org or photocopied there from. Candidates whose register numbers are included in the short list are directed to send self attested copies of documents to prove their claims made in the application, i.e. qualification, date of birth, Community and other benefits if any, which they are entitled to, to the District Officer, KPSC District Office, Pathanamthitta within 15 days from the date of publication of this notification. The register numbers of those candidates who do not produce the required documents within the prescribed time limit and whose applications are found otherwise defective will be deleted from the Short List without further notice.

5. The candidates belonging to SC, ST and Other Backward Communities included in the Short List who are required to produce Community Certificate or Non Creamy Layer Certificate as per G. O. (P) No. 117/08/SC/ST/ DD dated 19-12-2008 shall produce the same along with other documents mentioned above or as and when called for. Such candidates in the Main List who fail to produce the required Community Certificate or Non Creamy Layer Certificate will not be entitled to the benefits of Community reservation and will be considered as open competition candidates.

7. (i) According to the existing procedure, revaluation of answer scripts is not allowed. The following list contains the names of candidates found suitable on the basis of the result of the Objective Type (OMR Valuation) Test held on 5-12-2008 and verification of original documents of candidates included in the Probability List published on 24-11-2009 for the post of Tradesman (Smithy) on ` 4990-7990 in Technical Education Department (Category No. 373/07) in Kasaragod District for which notification for selection was published in the Gazette dated 31-10-2007, arranged in the order of merit. This ranked list is brought into force with effect from 31-12-2009.

The List will be in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new Ranked List after the expiry of a minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates from this list will be advised for appointment in accordance with the rules and orders regarding reservation and rotation as amended from time to time, if applicable, against vacancies reported to the Commission during the pendency of this list. As the advice for appointment depends on the occurrence of vacancies, there is no guarantee that all the candidates included in this list will secure appointment. The candidates remaining in this list at the time of cancellation will have no claim at all for appointment on the basis of the inclusion of their names in the list.

According to the existing procedure, revaluation of answer scripts is not allowed. But the Answer Scripts will be rechecked if the candidates apply for it along with a chalan receipt for the prescribed fee of ` 50 (Rupees Fifty only) remitted in any one of the Treasuries in the State under the Head of Account "0051-PSC-105-State PSC-99-Examination Fee". The application for rechecking with the original chalan receipt should reach the District Officer, Kerala Public Service Commission District Office, Kasaragod within one month from the date on which this Notification is officially released by the Public Service Commission. Application for rechecking received after the prescribed time limit will not be entertained.

The fee once remitted will not be refunded.

All the candidates who have appeared for the Objective Test (OMR Valuation), and whose applications are provisionally admitted are included in the Main List of this Ranked List.

Entries put in column 4 (community) are based on the communities specified by the candidates in their applications and proved with necessary documents. The candidates whose communities have not been correctly noted in the list as proved by them in their applications should intimate the fact to the District Officer, Kerala Public Service Commission District Office, Kasaragod within one moth from the date of publication of the list, to get the benefit of reservation to which they are entitled to.
