SHORT TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for the supply of Laboratary Equipments for ` 9,45,440 under UGC XI Plan- "Additional Assistance to covered colleges" Scheme to Govt. College, Kottayam.
The tenders should be superscribed "Tender for the supply of Laboratary Equipments-UGC XI Plan 2011-12" and addressed to the Principal, Government College, Kottayam, Nattakom P.O., Kottayam-686 013. Last date for the receipt of tender is 2 p. m. on 23-1- 2012. Late tenders will not be accepted. The tenders will be opened at 3 p.m. on 23-1-2012 in the presence of such tenderers or their authorized representatives who may present at that time.
Intending tenderers may on application to the Principal, Government College, Nattakom P. O., Kottayam obtain the requisite tender forms on which tenders should be submitted. Application for tender form should be accompanied by a cash remittance of ` 1,561 (Including Tax) which is the price fixed for a form and which is not refundable under any circumstances. Demand Draft for ` 1,561 on the local branch of SBT drawn in favour of the Principal, Government College, Kottayam and self addressed stamped cover should be enclosed with the Application for tender forms to be sent by post. The tender forms are not transferable. Sale of tender form will be closed at 1 p. m. on 23-1-2012. Cheques or Stamps will not be accepted towards the cost of tender forms. Duplicate tender forms, if required will be issued at ` 832 (Inclusive of Taxes) per copy. If 23-1-2012 happened to be a holiday, the Procedure will be continued on the next working day as per the time schedule mentioned above.
The rate quoted should be valid upto 31-3-2012. An agreement in the prescribed form in Kerala Government Stamp Paper worth ` 100 should be enclosed with the tender. Demand Draft for ` 9,454 (1% of the total cost) on the local branch of SBT/SBI drawn in favour of the Principal, Government College, Kottayam should be submitted along with the tender as Earnest Money Deposit.

ദർഘാസ് ഫാറം 23-1-2012-ാം തീയതി പകൽ 1 മണി വരെ കോളേജ് ഓഫീസിൽ നിന്നും ലഭിക്കുന്നതാണ്. തപാലിൽ ദർഘാസ് ഫാറം ലഭിക്കേ≠വർ ദർഘാസ് ഫാറത്തിന്റെ വില യായ `1,561-ന്റെ (നികുതിയുൾപ്പെടെ) ഡിമാന്റ ് ഡ്രാഫ്റ്റും തപാൽ സ്റ്റാമ്പ് ഒട്ടിച്ച് മേൽവിലാസം എഴുതിയ കവറും സഹിതം അപേക്ഷ നൽകേ≠താണ്. ദർഘാസ് ഫാറത്തിന്റെ വില ഒരു കാരണവശാലും തിരികെ നൽകുന്നതല്ല. ദർഘാസ് ഫാറങ്ങൾ കൈമാറ്റം ചെയ്യുവാൻ പാടുള്ളതല്ല. ദർഘാസ് ഫാറത്തിന്റെ വിൽപ്പന 23-1-2012-ാം തീയതി പകൽ 1 മണിക്ക് അവസാനിക്കുന്നതാണ്. 23-1-2012-ാം തീയതി അവധി ആയാൽ തൊട്ടടുത്ത പ്രവൃത്തിദിനം മേൽപറഞ്ഞ സമയക്രമം അനുസരിച്ച് നടപടിക്രമങ്ങൾ തുടരുന്നതാണ്.
ചെക്കുകൾ, പോസ്റ്റൽ ഓർഡറുകൾ, സ്റ്റാമ്പുകൾ എന്നിവ ദർഘാസ് ഫാറത്തിന്റെ വിലയായി സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നതല്ല. ഫാറം വി. പി. പി. ആയി അയയ്ക്കുന്നതല്ല. ഡ്യൂπിക്കേറ്റ് ദർഘാസ് ഫാറത്തിന്റെ വില (നികുതിയുൾപ്പെടെ) ` 832 ആയിരിക്കും. ദർഘാസിൽ കാണിക്കുന്ന നിരക്കുകൾക്ക് 31-3-2012 വരെ പ്രാബല്യം ഉ≠ായിരിക്കേ≠താണ്. ദർഘാസ് ഫാറത്തി നോടൊപ്പം ` 100 വിലയുള്ള മുദ്രപ്പത്രത്തിൽ ഉടമ്പടിയും നിരതദ്രവ്യമായി ` 9,454-ന്റെ ഡിമാന്റ ് ഡ്രാഫ്റ്റും നൽകേ≠താണ്.

Last date of receipt of tender form is on 24-1-2012. Late tenders will not be accepted. Estimate cost is ` 5,60,000.
Intending tenderers may on application to the Principal, Maharajas College, Ernakulam, Kochi-11 obtain the requisite tender forms (before 2 p. m. on all working days) on which tenders should be submitted. Application for the tender form should be accompanied by a cash remittance of ` 1,248 (1,200+48 VAT) which is the price fixed for the form and which is not refundable under any circumstances. Those who wish to get the tender form by post have to send ` 1,298 by Money Order. In the case of bidder outside Kerala, Stamp Paper worth ` 100 for executing agreement will be send on their request along with an additional amount of ` 50. The tender forms are not transferable.
