any of the offence falling under sections 137 to 139, 141 and 142, 144 to 147, 155 to 157, 159, 162, 163, 166 and 167 of the Indian Railways Act, 1989 (Central Act 24 of 1989) for a period of one year with effect from the A.N. of 5-3-2012.

(ii)In exercise of the powers conferred by the provision to sub section (2) of section 190 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973, (Central Act 2 of 1974) the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Pathanamthitta hereby specifically empowers the Special Judicial Magistrate of the Second Class (Railways), Kollam in the schedule shown below to take cognizance under section 190 (1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure of such offences of persons travelling without a proper pass or ticket over any part of the Southern Railway within the District of Pathanamthitta or committing in any part of the said Railway in the above said area, In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 14 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974) the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Pathanamthitta hereby defines the area specified in Column 2 of the Schedule hereunder as the area within which the Magistrate mentioned in Column 1 of the Schedule may exercise for a period of one year from the A.N. of 5-3-2012, all or any of the powers invested on him by the Hon'ble High Court of Kerala as per the Notification referred to above. 17th APRIL 2012 JUDICIAL DEPARTMENT 48 (1)
