The following draft amendment to the notification issued as G.O.(Ms.) No. 39/80/H.Edn. dated 12th March, 1980 and published as S.R.O. No. 394/80 in Section IV Part I of the Kerala Gazette No. 17 dated 22nd April, 1980, which the Government of Kerala propose to make in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-sections (1) and (3) of the Section 5 of the Charitable Endowments Act, 1890 (Central Act 6 of 1890) is hereby published as required by Rule 3 of the Charitable Endowments (Kerala) Rules, 1966, for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby:

Notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken up for consideration on or after the sixtieth day from the date of publication of this notification and that any objections or suggestions which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft before the expiry of the period specified above will be considered by the Government. Objections and suggestions, if any, shall be addressed to the Secretary to Government of Kerala, General Education(S) Department, Government Secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram-1.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 5 of the Charitable Endowments Act, 1890 (Central Act 6 of 1890), the Government of Kerala hereby make the following amendments to the notification issued as G.O. (Ms.) No. 39/80/H.Edn. dated 12th March, 1980 and published as S.R.O. No. 394/80 in Section IV Part I of the Kerala Gazette No. 17 dated 22nd April,1980, namely:— 2

AMENDMENT

In the said notification:—

(i) under the heading "SCHEME", in Paragraph 2, for the words, let- ters, figures and bracket " ` 5,000 (Rupees five thousand only)", the words, letters, figures and bracket " ` 30,000 (Rupees thirty thousand only)" shall be substituted;

(ii) in the SCHEDULE, for the entries under Column (2), the following entries shall be substituted, namely:—

" ` 30,000 (Rupees thirty thousand only)".
