In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 14 (1)
of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 (Act 2 of 1974),
the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kozhikode is hereby defines
the local area within which the Addl. Honorary Special
Judicial Second Class Magistrate, Kozhikode whose name
is specified under Column I of the schedule shown
under may exercise all or any of the powers with which
they have been invested under the code and by the
Smt. K. K. Bharathi, Kozhikode Offences coming Addl. Honorary under Kerala Special Judical Municipality Act Second Class 1994, Municipal Magistrate, Kozhikode. Corporation Act, Madras Public Health Act, Kerala Cinema Regulation Act and offences U/s. 290 of IPC which arise from the limits of Kozhikode Corporation and all petty cases arising within the limits of Medical College Police Station which lies in Kozhikode Corporation limits.
