It is hereby notified that a list of Physically Handicapped (Blind) is appended to the Ranked List for the post of LPS Assistant-Malayalam Medium in the Education Department in Pathanamthitta District (Category No. 390/2008) finalized on 1-9-2011 by including the name, Vinod, C. P. for appointment as per 3% reservation to P H Candidates vide G O (P) 57/11/ SWD dated 22-11-2011.

Note:-(1) Inclusion of Register Numbers in this list is purely provisional subject to scrutiny and admission of applications on absolute basis. Inclusion of Register Number in the short list does not confer any right on the candidate to be called for interview or for subsequent inclusion in the Ranked List.

(2) The Short List is prepared based on the details furnished by the candidate in the application and subsequent claims made will not be entertained at any stage.

The candidates who have secured 51 (Fifty One ) marks and above are included in the Main List of this Short List. The requisite marks have been lowered to the extent necessary in respect of the Supplementary Lists.

Candidates whose Register Numbers are included in the Short List are directed to send self attested copies of documents to prove their claims made in the application ie., qualification, date of birth, community, experience certificate and other benefits, if any, to which they are entitled to The Under Secretary, GR IV B (Government Wing) Recruitment, Office of the Kerala Public Service Commission, Pattom Palace P.O., Thiruvananthapuram- 695 004 within 15 days from the date of publication of this notification.

SC/ST candidates included in the Short List are required to produce two copies of Community Certificate issued by the Tahsildar concerned.

The candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes included in the Short List, are required to produce Non Creamy Layer Certificate as per G. O. (P) No. 81/09/SC/ST/DD dated 26-9-2009 along with other documents mentioned above as and when called for. Such candidates in the Main List who fail to produce the required Community Certificate/Non Creamy Layer Certificate will not be entitled to the benefit of community reservation and will be considered as Open Competition candidates and such candidates who are included in the supplementary lists will not be considered for this selection if they fails to produce NCLC/CC as the case may be.

The date, time and place of interview will be intimated in due course.

According to the existing procedure, revaluation of answer scripts is not allowed. But candidates can apply for rechecking of their answer scripts after publication of the Ranked List for the post. Detailed instructions in this regard will be found in the Ranked List notification for the post.

Copy of the answer scripts of the OMR Test held on 20-8-2010 will be issued to those candidates who apply for the same, remitting the prescribed fee, after publication of the Ranked List.

The following list contains the names of candidates found suitable on the basis of the result of the Objective Type (OMR) Common Test held on 1-10-2009 and the verification of original documents of candidates included in the Probability List published on 28-10-2011 for selection to the post of Binder Gr. II (Category No. 264/07) on ` 2750-4625 (PR) in Various Departments in Palakkad District arranged in the order of merit. This Ranked List is brought in to force with effect from 23-5-2012.

The Ranked List will be in force till the publication of a new Ranked List after the expiry of a minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates from this list will be advised for appointment in accordance with the rules and orders regarding reservation and rotation as amended from time to time, if applicable, against vacancies reported to the Commission during the pendency of the list. As the advice for appointment depends on the occurrence of vacancies, there is no guarantee that all candidates included in the list will secure appointment. The candidates remaining in the list at the time of cancellation will have no claim at all for appointment on the basis of the inclusion of their names in the list.

The candidates who have obtained 46 (forty six) marks and above in the OMR test are included in the Main List of the Ranked List. The requisite marks have been lowered to the extent necessary in respect of candidates under the reservation group of communities.

According to the existing procedure, revaluation of answer scripts is not allowed. But rechecking of marks will be done on payment of ` 50 (Rupees fifty only). The fees should be remitted in any one of the Treasuries in the State by chalan under the Head of Account "0051-PSC-105-State PSC-99 Examination Fee". The fee once remitted will not be refunded on any account. The result of the re-checking will be intimated to the candidates from this office. Applications for rechecking of answer scripts should be submitted in the prescribed format available free of cost from the Enquiry Sections of the various Offices of the Commission or its photocopy or downloaded and printed in A4 size paper from the Commission's website: www.keralapsc.org or photocopies therefrom. Applications submitted in any other manner will not be considered. Candidates who wish to obtain a photocopy of their OMR answer sheet (Part A and Part B) relating to this selection shall remit the fees of ` 200 (Rupees Two hundred only) by way of chalan in any of the treasuries in the state under the Head of Account "0051-PSC-800 other Receipts-99 other Receipts''. The duly filled up application in the prescribed form along with the original chalan should be submitted to the District Officer, KPSC District Office, Palakkad. A copy of the answer sheet will be issued only once to a candidate. Copies of OMR answer sheets invalidated due to any defect will not be issued. Candidates are prohibited from applying for copy of answer sheet which is not their own and legal proceedings will be initiated against those who do so.

Valid applications for rechecking/obtaining photocopy of answer script addressed to the District Officer, K.P.S.C. District Office, Palakkad shall reach this office within 45 days from the date on which the Ranked List has come into force (ie. the date on which the Ranked List has been approved by the Commission). The last date for receipt of applications for rechecking/obtaining photocopy of the answer script is 6-7-2012. Applications for rechecking/obtaining photocopy, received after the prescribed time limit and not in the prescribed form will not be entertained.

Entries put in column 8 (Community) are based on the communities specified by the candidates in their application forms and proved by them with necessary documents. The candidates whose communities have not been correctly noted in the list as proved by them in their applications should intimate the fact to the District Officer, KPSC District Office, Palakkad within one month from the date of publication of the ranked list, to get the benefit of reservation to which they are entitled to. In the absence of timely information regarding discrepancies, if any, the candidates will be advised on recruitment as incorporated in the list.

Letter 'P' should be prefixed to the Register Number to denote Palakkad District.

The Register numbers of those candidates who do not produce the required documents within the prescribed time limit and whose applications are found otherwise defective will be deleted from the short list without further notice.

4. The Register numbers of candidates whose Answer Scripts are invalidated as per Notification No. ERVII (1) 3657/10/EW, dated 9-1-2012 are not included in the Short List.

Note:—1. Inclusion of Register Numbers in this list is purely provisional, subject to scrutiny and admission of applications on absolute basis. Inclusion of Register Numbers in the short list does not confer any right on the candidate to be called for interview or for subsequent inclusion in the Ranked List.

2. The Short List is prepared based on the details furnished by the candidate in the application and subsequent claims made will not be entertained at any stage.

According to the existing procedure, revaluation of answer scripts is not allowed. Answer scripts will be recheked only after the publication of the Ranked List if the prescribed fee ` 50 is remitted in any of the Treasuries in the state by chalan under the Head of Account "0051 PSC 105 State PSC-99 Examination Fee" in the prescribed form available free of cost from the enquiry section of various offices of the Commission or downloaded from the Commission's website www.keralapsc.org. The Photocopy of the Answer Scripts will be obtained only after the publication of the Ranked List if the prescribed fee of ` 200 is remitted in any of the Treasuries in the State by chalan under the Head of account "0051 PSC 800 other Receipts 99 other receipts" in the prescribed form available from the Commission's website www.keralapsc.org. The original chalan receipt should be produced with the application for the rechecking/obtaining Photocopy.

Application for rechecking/obtaining Photocopy received from the candidate whose Answer Scripts have been invalidated will not be considered.
