Labour and Rehabilitation Department
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Labour and Rehabilitation (A)
ORDER
G . O. (Rt.) No. 1554/2012/LBR.
section 10 (1) (d) of the Industrial Disputes Act of 1947 (Central Act XIV of 1947), the Government hereby direct that the said industrial dispute be referred for adjudication to the Industrial Tribunal, Palakkad. The Industrial Thiruvananthapuram, 29th September 2012.
Whereas, the Government are of opinion that an industrial dispute exists between the Managing Director, Foster Marketing Company (Pvt.) Limited, Industrial Development Plot, Athani, Peringadoor P. O., Thrissur District and the workmen of the above referred establishment representation by the Secretary, Foster Employees Association (CITU), Peringadoor, Thrissur-680 581, (2) The President, Foster Employees Association, Peringadoor P. O. in respect of matters mentioned in the annexure to this order ;
And whereas, in the opinion of Government it is necessary to refer the said industrial dispute for adjudication;
Tribunal will pass the award within a period of three months.
ANNEXURE
Whether the closure of establishment of M/s Foster Marketing Company ( Pvt.) Ltd., Peringadoor, Thrissur is justifiable ? If not, what reliefs the employees are entitled to ?
