1. Sealed tenders are invited from intending manufacturers/authorized dealers of Overseas Companies/ authorized dealers for the supply of 1 No. Fully Automatic Programmable Three Knife Trimmer to Kerala Books and Publications Society, Kakkanad, Kochi.
SPECIFICATIONS
1. Untrimmed Book Size
Min: (80-160) × (80-130) mm, Max (340-500) × (300-350)mm 2. Trimmed Book Size
5. Hydraulic clamp pressure
Min: 50-600 Kgf Max: 1000-4000 Kgf 6. With Standard Equipment:
Delivery table, Hydraulic clamping system, Central Oil lubrication, Air compressor unit, Electric switch and control arrangement, Clamping rails and all other safety arrangements for operator safety.
2. The tender forms, terms and conditions, details of the specifications etc. of above item and other details governing supply will be available in the office of the undersigned during office hours on all working days on payment of non-refundable tender fees of (cid:31) 10,710 3. Tender form duly completed in all respects in sealed envelope with superscription i.e. 'Supply of Fully Automatic Programmable Three Knife Trimmer' addressed
to the Managing Director, Kerala Books and Publications
Society, Kakkanad P. O., Kochi-30 should reach the Office,
on or before 28-12-2012 upto 3 p. m. along with an
Earnest Money Deposit (E.M.D.) of (cid:31) 68,000 in the form
of Demand Draft of Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of
Managing Director, Kerala Books and Publications Society,
Kakkanad, Kochi-30.
4. The pre-qualification technical bid will be opened on 31-12-2012 in presence of tenderers/their authorised representative at 11 a.m. in the office of the Managing Director, Kerala Books and Publications Society, Kakkanad, Kochi-30 and the price bid on a subsequent date after intimation to the qualified tenderers.
5. All the rights to accept or reject whole or part of the tender without assigning any reason thereof is reserved by the undersigned.
