In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 229 of the Constitution of India, the Honourable the Chief Justice hereby makes the following amendments to the Kerala High Court Service Rules, 2007, namely:

Amendment (C. S. No. 26)
In the Rules,
The existing figure "35" occurring in sub rule (1)(d) of Rule 8 shall be substituted with the figure "36".
The amendment shall be deemed to have come into force retrospectively with effect from 1-4-2012.

Consequent on the enhancement of the age of compulsory retirement on superannuation of Government employees, teachers and staff of Aided Educational Institutions to 56 years, considering requests from various quarters, the Government have decided to enhance the maximum age limit prescribed for direct recruitment to various categories of posts uniformly by one year, vide G. O.(Ms.) No. 28/2012/P&ARD dated 20-6-2012. Having considered the matter in detail the Honourable the Chief Justice has ordered to amend the High Court Services Rules, 2007 prescribing the maximum age limit for direct recruitment as 36 years with retrospective effect from 1-4-2012 in accordance with the provisions in G. O. (Ms.) No. 28/2012/P&ARD dated 20-6-2012. Hence the amendment.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the Sub Section (1) of Section 14 of the Code of the Criminal Procedure 1973 (Act 3 of 1974) the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thrissur hereby defines the local areas shown in Column No. II within which the persons mentioned in Column No. I of the Schedule hereunder may exercise all or any of the powers which has been invested under the code from the date of taking charge.

30th APRIL 2013] JUDICIAL DEPARTMENT 47 JAILS DEPARTMENTTENDER NOTICE
No. SSJ/TVM/233/12. 1st April 2013.
Sealed competitive tenders are invited for hiring one fully covered pick up van with driver on contract basis for Iddli making Unit at the Special Sub Jail, Thiruvananthapuram for a period of one year (2013-2014) initially, which is likely to be extended further based on performance.
CONDITIONS
1. Average running distance/day: 60Km.
2. Pick up van should be ready at 5 a. m. on every day at special Sub Jail, Thiruvananthapuram Premises.
3. Normal period of requirement is from 5 a. m. to 6 p. m. every day.
4. Quoted rates should include all operation and maintenance expenses including fuel charges & remuneration to the Driver. Alteration should not be made in the tender form or schedule or Tender Conditions except to the extent of filling in the tender forms and schedules.
5. The owner of the vehicle/contractor shall maintain all up-to-date records as per the Kerala Motor Vehicles Act pertaining to the Vehicle such as RC Book, vehicle tax, policy of insurance, pollution control certificate, license of the driver etc. and shall be presented before the Superintendent, Special Sub Jail, Thiruvananthapuram for verification as and when required. Originals of all the above records shall be kept in vehicle during running time.
6. The vehicle that will be provided under this contract should be in good running condition. The vehicle should be comprehensively insured against all risks including third party insurance at the cost of the contractor/owner and the policy of insurance should be in force at all times during the contract period.
7. Separate per Km. rate should be indicated for running beyond 60 Km.
The tender should be superscribed with the Number, Name of Tender and addressed to the Superintendent, Special Sub Jail, Thiruvananthapuram. The PAC of the tender will be ` 5,40,000 ( Five lakh Fourty Thousand only).
Last date and time for receipt of tender with 1% E.M.D. will be at 3 p. m. on 14-5-2013 and will be opened at 4 p. m. on the same day, in the presence of such tenderers/their authorized representatives, who may be present at that time.
Late tenders will not be accepted. The rates quoted must be valid upto 31-3-2014. Tender form may be obtained from the Office of the Superintendent, Special Sub Jail, Thiruvananthapuram on working days during office hours. Tender forms are not transferrable. Application for tender form should be accompanied by cash remittance, as detailed below:
Original— ` 400 + 4% VAT.
Duplicate—` 200 + 4% VAT.
The cost of tender form will not be refunded under any cirucumstances. Sale of tender form will be closed at 4 p. m. on 13-5-2013.
E.M.D. and preliminary agreement (` 100 worth stamp paper) are to be submitted along with the tender form. Least quoted tender will be submitted to the Director General of Prisons & Correctional Services for approval. Supply Order will be given after the approval.
Cheques, Postage Stamps etc. will not be accepted, towards the cost of tender form. The tender forms will not be send by V. P. P. Further detailes are available from Special Sub Jail, Thiruvananthapuram.
തിരുവനന്തപുരം സ്പെഷ്യൽ സബ് ജയിലിലെ ഇÕലി മേക്കിംഗ് യൂണിറ്റിലേക്ക് ബോഡി കവർ ചെയ്ത പിക്ക് അപ്പ് വാൻ കരാർ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ ലഭ്യമാക്കുന്നതിന് മത്സര സ്വഭാവമുള്ള മുദ്രവച്ച ദർഘാസുകൾ ക്ഷണിച്ചുകൊള്ളുന്നു.
നിബന്ധനകൾ
1. വാഹനം ഒരു ദിവസം പരമാവധി സഞ്ചരിക്കേ≠ ദൂരം 60 കി.മീ.
2. വാഹനം എല്ലാ ദിവസവും രാവിലെ 5 മണിയ്ക്ക് ടി യൂണിറ്റിൽ എത്തേ≠താണ്.
3. യൂണിറ്റിൽ വാഹനം ഓടേ≠ സമയം 5 മണി മുതൽ 6 മണി വരെ.
4. ഡ്രൈവറുടെ കൂലി, ബാറ്റ, ഇന്ധനം, മെയിന്റൻസ്, എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള തുകയാണ് ടെ≠ർ തുകയായി രേഖപ്പെടുത്തേ≠ത്.
5. പ്രസ്തുത വാഹനത്തിന്റെ ആർ.സി. ബുക്ക്, വെഹിക്കിൾ ടാക്സ്, ഇൻഷ്വറൻസ്, പൊലൂഷൻ കൺട്രോൾ സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ്, ഡ്രൈവറുടെ ലൈസൻസ് എന്നിവ സൂപ്ര≠ിന്റെ മുന്നിൽ വെരിഫിക്കേഷൻ സമയത്ത് ഹാജരാക്കേ≠തും ഇവയുടെ ഒർജിനൽ വാഹനത്തിൽ സൂക്ഷിക്കേ≠തുമാണ്.
