Eligibility Criteria
Director of Ports, Directorate of Ports, Valiyathura, Vallakkadavu P. O., Thiruvananthapuram-695 008, invites on-line bids for the Construction of Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) through Swiss Challenge Method. The bid submission through our e-tender website only (keralaports.abcprocure.com). The tender forms will be available for download from the above site from 25-5-2013. The tenders can be submitted upto 11 a.m. on 24-6-2013 and will be opened at 11.30 a.m. on the same day.
Tender No.—06/2013-14.
Name of Work—Construction of a Sewage Treatment Plant for pollution prevention of Vembanad lake from house boats.
Cost of Project—Minimum cost of construction alone will be ` 92 Lakhs excluding cost of required land and other expenses, fees etc. ` 92 laks will be provided by 1. House Boat Owners Association registered with the competent authority of KIV Rules who can provide a minimum of 25 cents of land having sufficient water front facing Vembanad Lake to construct jetties of required length and other facilities of collection of sewage from house boats and operations.
2. The land should be near any major KIV certified house boat jetties or defined night halt points.
3. The location should be along the KIV approved routes of house boats.
Bid Parameter: The bidder who would offer maximum Gross revenue share to the Port department in Rupees for a 20 year period compared on a Net present value basis at 12% discount rate. The proposer will have the option to match the highest bidder. If the proposer is not constructing the STP, the successful bidder will pay ` 5 lakhs to the proposer as total cost of project report preparation and other related expenses to avail expertise.

Tender will be opened at 3 p. m. on the same day in the presence of those tenderers or their authorized respresentatives who are present at that time.
The tender should be prepared in white paper, neatly mentioned the monthly rent of Godown in figures and words and addressed to the Port Officer, Neendakara, Assramam, Kollam-02.
