ERRATUM NOTIFICATION
No. D1-86157/2006. 28th June 2014.
Sub:—Amendment to the Rules of the High Court of Kerala, 1971-notification published in the Kerala Gazette-printing error-rectification of- clause (iii) of the amendments, the word 'issued' shall be read as 'is sued'. The above gazette notification shall stand amended to that extent.

In the High Court notification referred above published in Part III of the Kerala Gazette No. 24, Vol. III, dated 17th June 2014, in the newly inserted rule 51 A in (This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.)
The High Court had amended the Rules of the High Court of Kerala, 1971, vide notification cited. But a printing error has been noticed in the notification published in the Kerala Gazette. This notification is issued for rectifying the error.

In exercise of the powers conferred under section 14(1) of Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974) and Order of the Hon'ble High Court of Kerala bearing No. D7(A)-53823/2014 dated 21-6-2014 & D7(A)-53822/2014 dated 23-6-2014, the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ernakulam hereby define the areas specified in Column No. 4 of the Schedule-I to the local limits of the area within which the temporary courts of the Judicial Magistrate of the First Class mentioned in Column No. 2 there of may exercise powers vested on them with effect from 5-7-2014.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the sub-section (1) of Section 14 of the Code of the Criminal Procedure 1973 (Act 3 of 1974) the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thrissur hereby defines the areas shown in Column II of the Schedule to be the local areas within which the person mentioned in Column No. I of the Schedule hereunder may exercise all or any of the powers which may be invested under the Code for the period from 1-7-2014 to 31-7-2014.
