NOTIFICATION
No. 300/D/14/KELSA. 23rd August 2014.
In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub Section (l) and (2) of Section 11A of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 (Central Act 39 of 1987), read with Rule 10 of the Kerala State Legal Services Authorities Rules 1998, the Kerala State Legal Services Authority hereby re-notify the Taluk Legal Services Committee for Ponnani Taluk of Malappuram District consisting of such members as detailed below w.e.f. the F.N. of 21st August, 2014 consisting of the following namely:—

Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the Notification, but is
intended to indicate its general purport).
As per Section 11 A (1) of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 all the Taluk Legal Services Committees coming under KELSA were constituted as per Notification No. 300/D/14/KELSA dated 18th February 2014 published in Kerala Gazette, 18th March 2014. However, in respect of Taluk Legal Services Committee at Ponnani Taluk of Malappurarn District, some errors have crept in. The name and place of one of the non-official member (Sl. No. 8, Page No. 429) is spelt erroneously. Instead of the correct name "Sakkeer", it is stated as "Gakkir". So also, the place in the address of the said member is also stated erroneously as "Thelur", instead of the correct name "Othalur". It has therefore become necessary to re-notify the constitution of the TLSC, Ponnani after correcting the mistakes above referred to.
This notification is intended to achieve the above
object.
