KERALA LABOUR WELFARE FUND BOARD

REGULATIONS NOTIFICATION

No. S1-4132/08.

1. Short title and commencement.—(1) These regulations may be called the Kera1a Labour Welfare Fund Board Employees Contributory Provident Fund (Amendment) Regulations, 2014.

(2) They shall come into force at once.

2. Amendment of the Regulations.—In the Kerala Labour Welfare Fund Board Employees Contributory Provident Fund Regulations, 1984, in Chapter I, in Regulation 2, in item (e) the words or "part time" shall be omitted.

(This does not form part of the notification, but is

intended to indicate its general purport.)

As per the existing Regulations, the part time employees of the Kerala Labour Welfare Fund Board are not eligible to subscribe to the Kerala Labour Welfare Fund Board Employees Contributory Provident Fund. Government have now decided to extend this benefit to the part time employees of the Board also. Accordingly Government have approved this amendment regulation as per G.O.(Ms.) No.126/2014/LBR dated 16-10-2014 under sub-section (3) of Section 42 of the Kerala Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1975 (II of 1977).

The notification is intended to achieve the

above object.
