In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section 2(b) of section 12 of the Kerala Agricultural University Act (Act 33 of 1971), the General Council of the Kerala Agricultural University hereby make the following statutes prescribing method of recruitment for the appointment of Non-Teaching Staff of Kerala Agricultural University as assented to by the Chancellor with effect from 24-11-2012 under section 49(6) of the said act.

Statutes

Notwithstanding anything contained in all existing statutes for the appointment of Non-Teaching Staff of the Kerala Agricultural University, direct recruitment and internal selection (by transfer of post) of Non-Teaching Staff of Kerala Agricultural University is entrusted to the kerala Public Service Commission.

Explanatory Note

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport).

The Statutes entrusting the appointment of Non-Teaching Staff of Kerala Agricultural University-direct recruitment and internal selection (by transfer of post) to Kerala Public Service Commission is based on the order issued by the Govt. of Kerala entrusting the appointment of Non-Teaching Staff of all Universities in the State to Kerala Public Service Commission [G. O. (Ms.) No. 11/2011/Higher Education dated 4-2-2011]. The 118th meeting of the General Council held on 6-8-2011 has approved the draft statutes for the above matter. The intention of the notification is to achieve the above object. 59
