In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 123 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, the High Court of Kerala hereby extends the term of the existing Rule Committee consisting of the following, until further orders.

In partial modification of the High Court Notification cited, the Honourable Mr. Justice T. R. Ramachandran Nair will hold sitting on 15-5-2015, in place of the Honourable Mr. Justice V. K. Mohanan, along with the Honourable Mr. Justice P. B. Suresh Kumar, in Court No. 2C.

Explanatory Note
In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 14 (1) of the Criminal Procedure Code 1973 (Act 2 of 1974), the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kozhikode, hereby defines the local limits of the area within which the Judicial First Class Magistrate III, Kozhikode, may exercies all or any of the powers vested on her as Judicial Magistrate of First Class by the code and by the High Court in the local area specified uder Column No. III of the schedule given below, with effect from 31-3-2015. This notification is issued in consequence to the errors occurred in Column No. III against Serial No. 3 while issuing the notification cited.
(This does not form part of the notification but it intended to indicate its general purport.)
While issuing the notification read above, in the column showing the local limits of Police Station area wise jurisdiction (Column No. III) of the Court of Judicial First Class Magistrate-III, Kozhikode, the words "the cause of action arise within the limit of Panniyankara Police Station" was mistakenly entered instead of the words "the cause of action arise within the limits of Kasaba Police Station." The notification is intended to rectify that defect.
