Specifications
Should be compatible with any Anesthesia machine.
Should use Sevoflurane as anesthetic agent.
Should have a flow range from 200mL/min to l5mL/min.
Should have a large diameter control dial with fine graduations of 0.2% between 0 and 1% and 0.5% from 1% to 8%.
Should have clear agent level indication.
Should have a simple and efficient agent filling mechanism to minimize agent leaks while filling.
Specify the filling mechanism.
Should have capacity to store at least 200mL of anesthetic agent.
Should have tools free design for mounting and removing from the manifold.
Should have non-spill system.
Should be supplied with Sevoflurane anesthetic agent.
Should have safety certificate from a competent authority CE/FDA (US)/STQC CB Certificate/STQC S Certificate or valid detailed electrical and functional safety test report from ERTL. Copy of the Certificate/ test report shall be produced along with the technical bid.

Sealed competitive tenders in the prescribed form are invited for the supply of a Sagital Saw required for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department of Government Dental College, Thiruvananthapuram for the year 2015-16 as detailed in the specification appended below. Interested tenderers may submit separate "Technical bid" in one envelope superscribing "Tender No. 03/2015-Technical bid" and separate "Financial bid" in another cover superscribing "Tender No.03/2015-Financial Bid" and should be addressed to the 'Principal, Government Dental College, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala State'. Both covers should be inserted in one cover duly sealed and should be addressed to the Principal, Government Dental College, Thiruvananthapuram, Pin-695 011, Kerala State, superscribing 'Tender No. 03/2015 for the supply of Sagital Saw required for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department'.

Last date of receipt of tenders will be 25-8-2015 at 2 p. m. Late tenders will not be accepted. The Technical bid will be opened at 3 p. m. on 25-8-2015 in the presence of such of the tenderers or their authorized representatives, who may be present at that time. The Financial bid will be opened after the date of opening of Technical bid under intimation to the tenderers whose Technical bid found to be acceptable and that the date of opening of Financial bid will be intimated through e-mail, by fax and by telephone. No communication will be sent to tenderers whose Technical bid seemed to be not acceptable.
Intending tenderers may, on application to the Principal,Government Dental College, Thiruvananthapuram, Pin-695 011, Kerala, obtain requisite tender forms on which tenders should be submitted. Application for the tender form should be accompanied by a cash remittance shown above, which is the price fixed for a form and which is not refundable at any circumstances. The tender forms are not transferable. Sale of tender forms will be closed at 3 p. m. on 24-8-2015. Cheques,postage stamps etc. will not be accepted towards the cost of forms, nor will the forms be sent by VPP. 5. Tenders to be submitted in details with illustrated pamphlet (Wherever necessary) neatly typed, written manuscripts should be avoided.
6. 10. For each item the upper limit of No. of offers/rate is restricted to 2 (two) and the 2nd offer/rate for an item must be substantiated with sufficient EMD, if the second offer is not accompanied with sufficient EMD that will not be considered for selection.
