In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 11 (3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973, the High Court of Kerala hereby appoints the person mentioned in Column (2) of the Schedule hereto attached to be the Judicial Magistrate of the First Class to preside over the Court specified against his name in Column (3) thereof
(ii)
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 260 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973, the High Court of Kerala hereby specifically empowers the Judicial Magistrate of the First Class mentioned in Column (2) of the Schedule hereto attached to try in a summary way all the offences mentioned in the said sub-section.

ഈ കോടതിയിൽ തീർപ്പുകൽപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളതായ കേസിലുൾപ്പെട്ട താഴെ കാണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന വാഹനം അതിന്റെ യഥാർ∞ ഉടമസ്ഥന് നോട്ടീസ് അയച്ചിട്ടും അത് യഥാവിധി നടത്താൻ സാധിക്കാതെ വന്നതിനാൽ ടിയാനോ ടിയാൻ ജീവിച്ചിരിപ്പില്ലെങ്കിൽ ടിയാന്റെ നിയമപ്രകാരമുള്ള അനന്തരാ വകാശികളോ തങ്ങളുടെ അവകാശം തെളിയിക്കുന്ന രേഖകൾ സഹിതം ഈ പരസ്യ തീയതി മുതൽ 2 മാസത്തിനകം ഈ കോടതിയിൽ ഹാജരായി മുതൽ കൈപ്പറ്റേ≠താണെന്നും അല്ലാത്തപക്ഷം ടി മുതൽ സർക്കാർ ഖജനാവിലേക്ക് In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 2 of Section 190 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974) the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thalassery hereby specifically empowers the person appointed by the Honourable High Court of Kerala as Honorary Special Judicial Second Class Magistrate (Railway), Kozhikode, as per notification read above, whose name is mentioned under Column No. 1 of the schedule shown below for a period of one year from the date of assumption of charge to take cognizance of those offences u/s 190(1) of Criminal Procedure Code which are within his competence to enquire into or try and which are shown under Column No. II of the said schedule.

Sub:—Honorary Special Judicial Second Class Magistrate (Railway) Kozhikode—Conferring of power u/s 190(2) Cr. PC-1973—Notification— issued.
All the powers conferred on a Magistrate of the First Class under the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 in respect of offence relating to all cases of persons travelling without a proper pass or ticket over any part of the Southern Railway within the District of Thalassery or committing over any part of the said Railway in the above said area and of the offences falling u/s 137 to 139, 141 and 142 to 147, 155 to 157, 159, 162, 163, 166 and 167 of the Indian Railways Act, 1989 (Central Act 24 of 1989).
