2013 മാർച്ച് മാസം 26-ാം തീയതി പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച കേരള ഗസറ്റിലെ പേജ് നമ്പർ 2387-ൽ LA Notifications and Declarations എന്ന ഭാഗത്ത് 1961-ലെ കേരള സർവ്വെയും അതിർത്തിയും സംബന്ധിച്ച ആക്ടിലെ 13-ാം വകുപ്പ് പ്രകാരമുള്ള പരസ്യത്തിൽ പ്രദേശത്തിന്റെ വിവരങ്ങൾ എന്ന ഭാഗത്ത് (നഗരസഭ 1 മുതൽ 14 വരെയുള്ള ബ്ലോക്കുകളിൽ ഉൾപ്പെട്ട) "നിലവിൽ മണക്കാട് വില്ലേജിൽ ഉൾപ്പെട്ടു വരുന്ന 262 ഗ്രിഡുകൾ" എന്നതിന് പകരം (നഗരസഭ 1 മുതൽ 14 വരെയുള്ള ബ്ലോക്കുകളിൽ ഉൾപ്പെട്ട) "നിലവിൽ മണക്കാട് വില്ലേജിൽ ഉൾപ്പെട്ടുവരുന്ന 251 ഗ്രിഡുകളും സർവ്വേ നമ്പർ 1-ം (കരമന നദി) ഉൾപ്പെട്ടുവരുന്ന പ്രദേശം" എന്ന് തിരുത്തി വായിക്കേ≠താണ്.
