E-tenders are invited through www.etenders.kerala.gov.in for the supply, erection and commissioning of Diesel Generator, in two bid system with the technical specification attached.
1. All tenders/bids shall be accepted only through online mode (https://etenders.kerala.gov.in) and no manual submission of the same shall be allowed.
2. EMD for ` 68,000 for the item and cost of tender form (` 10,000 + Tax) should be remitted through online.
3. Re-submission of offer is possible, before last date as permitted in the site.
4. Offers are acceptable only up to 10.30 a.m. on 29-12-2015.
5. Opening of Technical bid is scheduled at 10.30 a.m. on 1-1-2016.
6. Prices should be quoted F.O.R KBPS, Kakkanad, Ernakulam, Kerala.
7. If any taxes has to be paid extra this should be specified clearly in your offer/BOQ.
8. The offer should be valid up to six months from the date of opening of the tender.
9. The scanned copy of the tender document and agreement in ` 500 Kerala Stamp Paper duly filled and signed shall be submitted online and subsequently the original in a separate cover should reach the office of the undersigned on or before the opening time of the tender.
10. The copy of all the documents submitted online, should reach the office of the undersigned on or before the opening time of the tender.
11. All the rights to accept or reject whole or part of the tender without assigning any reason thereof is reserved by the undersigned/Sr. Officers like HOD's etc. The decision of Managing Director/Sr. Officers like HOD's will be final and binding on the tenderer.
12. All rules and regulations of the Tender/bid shall be in accordance with the Stores Purchase Manual of the Government of Kerala.

• To be supplied with standard external Fuel tank and fuel lines.
• To be provided with standard batteries with rack and cables.
• Exhaust piping and suitable silencer installation with proper thermal insulation as per standards/regulations to meet stringent noise emission standards laid down by the latest CPCB norms.
• Acoustic enclosure that conforms to the latest CPCB norms or equivalent conformance standards as per India regulations with easy access of all engine parts, lube oil etc. Lockable doors to ensure D.G set safety. Non-igniting, self extinguishing mineral wool packing with resin bonded, used for noise and thermal insulation.
• Governor—Digital electronic.
• To clearly specify fuel consumption at 100%, 75% and 50% loads.
• To specify the physical dimensions of the set.
• To be supplied with all documents.
• Guarantee period of the set to be mentioned.

Capacity : 500 KVA x 2 Nos. with following specifications • Heavy duty four—stroke diesel generator set with CPCB (latest norms) approved acoustic enclosure and fuel emission strategy for optimum fuel efficiency.

Technical Specification
• Radiator cooled diesel engine 1500 RPM, complete with standard accessories.
• Engine meeting CPCB (latest norms) without external exhaust gas recycle (EGR) technology.
Fully automatic programmable single knife paper cutting machine with cutting width: 1000 mm—1370 mm, with feed depth: 1000 mm—1650 mm, maximum loading height: 150 mm—165 mm with all safety attachments.
Terms and Conditions
• Coupled to 400 KW/500 KVA world-class alternator rated at 415 Volt/3 phase/50 Hertz mounted on common channel iron base frame complete with standard control panel.
• Make/brand of engine and alternator to be clearly specified.
• To specify the number of cylinders and type of engine.
• Electrical starter motor with soft start an arrangement.
• Standard and electronic control panel with provisions for all safety controls/trips of engine/alternator. To provide necessary warning systems and other safeties with digital indications. Simple user friendly interface and navigation with emergency stop push button.
