The Departmental Promotion Committee (Lower) met on 13-1-2016 in the Chamber of the Chairperson for preparing the Select List of Assistant Commercial Tax Officers eligible for promotion to the cadre of Commercial Tax Officer in the Department.
The Committee decided to carry forward the Officers who were included in the Select List for the The following is the Select List of Assistant Commercial Tax Officers eligible for promotion to the cadre of Commercial Tax Officer for the year 2016 prepared by the Departmental Promotion Committee (Lower) held on 13-1-2016 and approved by Government, vide Letter No. 2192/D3/16/TD dated 4-2-2016 of Taxes (D) Department.

110. Fathima Mercy, D. The DPC (Lower) held on 12-1-2015 selected Sri A. Abdul Vahab for promotion to the cadre of Commercial Tax Officer. His name was included in the Select List for the year 2015 as Sl. No. 74. He was not promoted to the cadre of Commercial Tax Officer as he was suspended from service as per the recommendation made by the Director, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau in connection with the surprise check conducted by the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau at Commercial Tax Check Post, Govindapuram on 14-8-2014. The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau registered a case against the individual and the same is now pending. Therefore the DPC (Lower) held on 13-1-2016 decided to remove his name from the Select List of 2015. Hence the amendment.
