Vesting jurisdiction of newly constituted Coastal Police Station, Arthunkal with the Court of Judicial Magistrate of the First Class, Ambalapuzha—Notification issued—reg.

Ref :— (1) G. O. (Rt.) No. 1336/2014/Home dated 9-5-2014.

(2) G. O. (Rt.) No. 1586/2015/Home dated 24-6-2015.

(3) Letter No.D4/33610/12A dated 20-8-2015 As per the direction of the Hon'ble High Court of Kerala (vide O. M. cited 4th in the reference) the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Alappuzha, in exercising the powers conferred U/s. 14(1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Central Act 2 of 1974) hereby confer all the powers of the jurisdiction of the Coastal Police Station, Arthunkal to the Court of the Judicial Magistrate of the First Class, Ambalapuzha, comprising the area of the "territorial waters, off the coast from Southern end of Alappuzha West Village (Near Mathsyagandhi Junction) Ambalapuzha Taluk to Pallithode (Border of Alappuzha, Ernakulam districts) in Kuthiathodu Village, Cherthala Taluk to an extent of Twelve Nautical Miles from the Coast, provided by law or any powers within which he/she has been invested by the Hon'ble High Court of Kerala.
